We're not interested in sitting down in the restaurant for lunch, so:

1. Can you just go to the walk-up window for sundae/desserts to go?

2. Since I'm sure they wont allow use of snack credits, can we use MB to pay for it?

3. Are there areas or outdoor tables around where you can sit down to eat?

4. Does the walk-up window get really packed/busy?

1. Yes, you can walk up and order desserts such as ice cream cones, floats, shakes, and soft drinks. The walk up menu is much smaller than the sit down menu.

2. Some items are on the snack plan such as ice cream cones, some floats, small treats, and soft drinks. If it's not on the snack plan, you can use your MB to charge it, assuming you have a credit card on file.

3. Yes, there are tables with chairs and umbrellas that you can sit at.

4. I've never seen it busy at lunch time or in the afternoon. I've never been in the evening.

Thank you so much! So the better menu is inside. I now need to scope a ressie I guess.

i dont know what those sundaes are but they sound awesome! LOL

None of the "big" sundaes are available at the take-out window: No Way Jose, Milky Way, Fudgey Mudslide and the Kitchen Sink sundaes.

In October my brother-in-law and I went to the take-out window and I ordered a No Way Jose and my brother-in-law ordered a Banana Split. I have ordered the No Way Jose several times at the take-out window and have never had a problem.

I also order off the regular menu from the take out window. Though, my preference is for the Frozen Sunshine shake. We travel in peak times (like Xmas week the last 2 years.) I have seen the line get up to 10 deep in the evening. But, it moves fairly quickly, never more than 10 minute wait. Families tend to stand together in line, then 1 person orders and it moves quickly with mostly scoops being served. I do also like sitting down for a meal, though. You will enjoy either way!

whats the chance of 2 people walking up and getting in? what time would be best right at opening for lunch?

Not likely. It's really small. But you might get a counter seat.

You might get a counter but you might also be told no walk ups are being taken. Seems to be hit or miss based on reservations and how many others are waiting for a counter seat.

Back in 2012, it was also impossible to get an ADR. So our family of 4 walked up about 15+ mins before opening. We got a booth easily and had the Kitchen Sink for lunch. I will treasure that memory forever. So much fun!

I'd love to go back but am already spending a ton on my upcoming trip and just have no room for extras in the budget. If I was sure we could get the Kitchen Sink with our DDP credits for dessert, I would go. But because its chancy, I just don't want to take the risk.

I have ordered the no way Jose and Milky Way from the walk up window. Multiple times. It's not a snack credit but you can get it

I was there a few days ago and asked about the take-out window. I was told that you could order any of the desserts except the Kitchen Sink and the thing with grilled banana bread. You cannot order any of the entrees. I did not ask about dining plan credits.

Odd, I guess they changed their stance. Last year, I felt so bad watching them turn sundae orders away at the take-out window and offer regular hot fudge sundaes instead.
