We will be having dinner at Trattoria Al forno but would like to get ice cream sundaes for dessert and stroll for a lap around the lake.
Which has the better ice cream- beaches and cream to go window or boardwalk ice cream?
Thanks!

Given the choice between the two, I would do Beaches and Cream all day every day BUT since you say you're doing this as dessert after Trattoria, then do Boardwalk - they're smaller.

It's the same ice cream but I much prefer to sit and eat at the tables by the water over by the ice cream shop vs the perpetually sticky handful of tables overlooking the pool at beaches and cream.

That was going to be my question-where can you sit if you go to the Boardwalk Ice Cream. And my other question is-if they have the same sundaes, just different names, what's the No Way Jose sundae called over there? I haven't been to Boardwalk Ice Cream yet, but it's definitely a possibility on my next trip.

It’s called the Thundering Surf.

Pretty sure both menus can be found on Disney's site if you want to see the full range of options.

I prefer the openness of the Boardwalk Ice Cream location. Easy to see the flavor and topping choices, and you can follow along as they prepare it :)

Fun fact: if you can't decide between the Fudge Mud Slide and the No Way Jose at Beaches & Cream, you can get the No Way and add a brownie "topping" for $1 so you get the best of both worlds. You're welcome :hyper:
Oh this is exactly the dining tip my upcoming visit needed!!!!!

I’d plan on getting ice cream at the window rather than B&C - just in case you’re too full after eating at Tratoria for any ‘Zert’ (as my granddaughter calls it)…
