Beaches and cream now accepting adrs

This sucks. I love that place, but if it turns into a place where you can only go with ADRs, I'll never go.

Stayed at BC and have never been to B&C. Made an ADR for lunch on 12/31! Super excited!

Also made one for 12/31 lunch but had to get two tables because a table of five would not come up. If you see a table of three teen girls being silly it will probably me my girlies.:lmao:

The Dis just posted an article on their Facebook page - Beaches & Cream to start accepting ADRs as of 12/18.

I'm very happy that B&C has started to accept reservations. We have stayed at the Beach Club resort many times, but the long wait times for a table has discouraged us from eating at B&C. Now I can get a reservation for lunch while we are there in March. :goodvibes

I'm not happy about this one either. Getting a larger table(s) is nearly impossible. I tried for the entire first week of May and nothing for 2 tables of 4. Guess we'll never get in here again. We were always willing to wait 30 minutes to get in. Now it's not possible. I can get tables for 2 easily, but nothing bigger than a table for 4 other than that.

For those of you who think there won't be any walk up availability, I would like to share my experience.

I checked into the YC on 12/24 (yes, Christmas Eve). I'd been checking from the evening before and all day to see if there were any openings at B&C, but it was showing booked until after 7pm. I arrived at the hotel about 3:30pm, still checking, still nothing available. So I decided I would go in person to check and see if I could maybe get in, and if not, I'd just get an ice cream to go and head to Epcot. When I got to the hostess stand and asked if they had any openings, imagine my surprise when the place was literally empty! There was one table with a family sitting there, and no one at the counter at all. In fact, they were talking the whole time I was there about how no one was coming in. It was maybe a third to a half full when I left.

I don't know where the disconnect was between the app, the website, and the restaurant was, but I was glad I decided to check. I can't guarantee your experience will be the same, but if you're dining at an off time, it's certainly worth checking on walk in availability if you can't get an ADR.

Good to know. Beaches and Cream has always been a favorite but if walk up isn't available I guess we won't go. We are staying in the area and love to stop by for a burger or ice cream, yet pre planning is difficult. I guess we'll see how it goes when we are there.

Hi, we've never been to the B&C, but we were planning on taking an afternoon break from EPCOT during our trip this May to go an get the Kitchen Sink.

Am I understanding this correctly, that I now need an ADR to do this??
