While I was planning for my upcoming trip, I was day-dreaming about what to order when I'm going to Beaches and Cream in October.

I just can't decide which dessert to order, No Way Jose or Kitchen Sink

We are travelling as a party of 4 adults and one 4-year-old

Kitchen Sink for me is a very unique experience, but it may be too much even for 4 adults to finish, and I don't want the entire meal to be just the Kitchen Sink, too much icecream and sweet stuff.

No Way Jose seems more manageable and other people in our party can order their own dessert, but it doesn't have that unique feel to it.

I don't know which way to go...

No Way Jose all the way! I completely understand you wanting the Kitchen Sink for the experience, but I have never had a sundae quite like the No Way Jose. I have only been to B&C once, but I saw two tables with the Kitchen Sink and both of them left half of it in the bowl. It's so big that even four people eating can't get through it before it turns into a soupy sweet mess.

We do the kitchen sink often. But we have about 6 adults - if we have 10 we order two. But the PP is right. If you don't eat it fast it turns into a soupy mess. It is good though. Our son usually finishes it with a straw. I would go with the No Way Jose for your party size.

The No Way Jose is one of my favorite Disney treats. I will make a special trip to BC just for that. However, the Kitchen Sink is an actual mini experience that really can't be easily duplicated. Family members will definitely remember having it. Sorry I'm not much help but I'd go with the Kitchen Sink.

No Way Jose hands down. One of my favorite things to get im Disney. Personally, i feel that the kitchen sink is just a jumbled mess of ice cream that doesnt have a true defined flavor. Every child's dream... but i like the chocolate peanutbutter.

If we ever do the Kitchen Sink, I will get the chocolate lovers version and see if we can add in some peanut butter. The regular Kitchen Sink has too many disparate ice cream flavors and toppings. It makes an unappetizing sounding flavor profile.
The No Way Jose is my absolute favorite ice cream creation EVER. I've been known to get that and a side of fries for my dinner.

LOL. We posted nearly the same thing at the same time. great minds think alike?

The Kitchen sink is quintessential Disney to me. We always get one when the whole family goes. They have several different versions now, but we have never had an issue asking for an ice cream flavor to be subbed out,

No Way Jose over the Kitchen Sink, but we mostly order the banana split - dh & I really love that.

The Kitchen Sink has way too much sweet syrups in it, and turns to mush quite quickly. The individual desserts are much more tasty - just doesn't get the attention that the 'Sink' does!!

Hands down the No Way Jose Sundae!!!! It is my favorite ice cream sundae on Disney property :cloud9:.

Wow, thanks for everyone's response. I wouldn't have thought nearly everyone would go towards No Way Jose.

It has helped me a lot in deciding what to get.

We were just there on Monday. In our family there is two adults and two teenagers. We did eat a whole meal there so we didn't think we could do the kitchen sink or each get the No Way Jose. We chose the mini kitchen sink. Although it is a lot less than the kitchen sink, it just satisfied the four of us after eating a whole meal. Just another option for those who want a neat dessert but can't eat as much as the kitchen sink. Also, they do serve the kitchen sink at the Plaza Restaurant and from what I heard, it is a lot cheaper than Beaches and Cream.

We have stayed at BC and YC over the years and Beaches and Cream was easy to visit during each stay. Personally, I will continue to voice what others have stated regarding No Way or the Sink: one is for flavor and other one for the experience-photos. The Kitchen Sink is too many flavor and stuff in one place at the same time with a life span of minutes before the flavor of each start to blend. We typically found we try to get to what we like in the sink before it is mixed with something we care for less. If you want the pictures get the sink. If you want an ice cream taste experience select the other menu items.

I like your idea of fantasizing about what to get to eat.

We have a dinner reservation the first week of July. I just went through the Beaches & Cream menu and I can't decide between the

Milky Way Sundae

Three Scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream, Hot Fudge, Caramel, and Whipped Cream topped with Dark and White Chocolate Shavings and a Cherry
$9.00

Fudge Mud Slide
A gooey, chewy Brownie covered with Hot Fudge, Three Scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream, Oreo Cookies, and Whipped Cream topped with Chocolate Syrup and a Cherry
$9.00

We are planning on eating dinner. My son will probably get the mickey mouse sundae with his meal.

I am looking at the

Grilled Cheese and Tomato Bisque

with Six-Cheese blend
$10.50

and the

Roasted Turkey on Challah

with Dried Cranberries, Smoked Gouda, Jalapeño Jam, and Fried Onions
$14.00
