We are driving in from TX and should be arriving at WDW at about 6:30pm. Since we plan on doing rope drop the next morning and we will just have been on the road for 14 hrs I didnt want to do a big sit down meal and have to worry about making a reservation. I have been looking for something fun and different then just the food court (we are styaing at ASM) and ran acroos Beaches and Cream, it looks like a really fun upbeat placed that would not take too long to eat and would be fun after a long drive like that (it will be me and DH and DD(2) and DCousin(17) Has anyone ever been there of had any experience with this resturant? Any advice would be great...thanks!!!

We have had dinner here several times. The menu isn't extensive, but the food they offer is very good! Burgers and onion rings are great. If you have a party of 4 I would recommend waiting for a booth, but there are only 3 or 4. The place is very small, so at times the wait can be for an hour. They don't take ADRs but there is usually a wait for a table. So after a 14 hr drive I don't know if you would want to wait up to an hour for a table. My family loves Beaches and Cream, and we don't mind waiting for the table.
Basically, the food is good, the atmosphere is fun, but there is a wait. Another suggestion of you want to avoid ADRs is perhaps DTD?

I would recommend ESPN at the boardwalk...just a short walk from beaches & cream. You don't need ADRs there either and the food is much better. As long as there isn't a big big game on when you go, the wait isn't too bad.

I ate at B&C with my son this summer for the first time. I honestly didnt care for the burger. It didnt taste better than the average fast food burger. The burger was puny and looked like it was frozen. It didnt have much taste to it either. Maybe they have gone down hill lately. I tried it becauase of all the raves I read about it. I usually like to eat at WPE in DTD on arrival day

The sundaes are good and fun to get. The burgers are just so so, you can get much better TS burgers at a lot of other places.
As far as being quick, that really depends on how crowded it is, you could have to wait for a table for a while since it is pretty small in there and they do not take ADRs.
I will say though that the customer service there/waiters are great. We had a slight problem with my meal and they bent over backwards to fix it, kept apologizing, manager came out, etc. And I did not make a stink/big deal/nothing, just something was wrong with my burger.

We like B&C, the food has always been good. Especially the desserts! Love the "no way Jose" it is so good!

the food is ok.Not something I would go out of my way for. Also be aware that this place is SUPER tiny.Only a few booths and a couple tables and some counter seating.Waits for a table can be long at times espcially traditional meal times or after illuminations lets out

In 20+ visits to Disney, my dinner at B&C is by far the *worst* meal I have ever had. I wouldn't go back there for lunch or dinner if you paid me.

The only saving grace was that the No Way Jose I had for dessert is up there as one of my all time favorite desserts/snacks at Disney, alongside the make your own Rice Krispy Treats at Goofy's, ice cream sandwiches from the MS Bakery, and anything from Ghirardelli.

Instead of B&C for burgers, go over to the Dolphin Fountain. Their burgers (and other stuff) are miles ahead of B&C these days.

After a long day of driving, I'm not sure how long you want to wait for a table. We've stayed at the YC and BC numerous times and there is almost always a line to get into this place. As others have said, it's a fun place, but IMO nothing worth a one-hour wait for. If you really don't want to make an ADR I would suggest ESPN or something at DTD.

I would also recommend eating at the espn club then going to beaches and cream for dessert. It's only a 5-10 minute walk. The food at espn is better but the ice cream at beaches and cream is yummy!

We've tried to go to Beaches & Cream three times now and each time the wait has been too long. There are not many tables and if you are going during a busy time of year, it will be even worst. With it being right next to the pool area at YC & BC, it stays busy all day from what I have seen. Plus I don't know if it's worth driving too, after having driven all day. And I also don't think it's worth the long bus trip.

I agree with the ESPN Club suggestion. I don't think you'd have much of a wait there, and there would be much more of a selection.

Another ESPN recommendation. Burgers are better and the menu has more variety. They also have desserts, or you can go to Seashore Sweets, the ice cream shop at the Boardwalk. Same ice cream as at B&C (Edy's/Dreyer's) but without the typical 1 hour wait.

If you want to check out B&C at least, you can also go to the to-go counter at B&C. We've always gotten ice cream to go with no wait when we determined the wait to eat in was too long. The full menu is not available, however.
