We have't eaten here for a couple of years and made it a point to eat there last Monday. What happened to those great juicey cheeseburgers? We used to love them. These were no better than the ones served at every CS place at WDW. The frappes were still great. We'll go back for ice cream only. Too bad!

My family and I have not been there before and when I was looking at their menu the Cheeseburgers is what jumped out at me, so should we decide to go there is there anything else on their menu that you would recommend?

Years ago we went and had the same "people go out of their way for this." The bun was different, but it was the same patty as everywhere else. Onion rings were good. Ice cream is Edy's - I can get that out of the freezer at the grocery store - and I don't buy it, it isn't good enough ice cream for anyone but my kids.

I wonder if their Chicken Breast Sandwich is still up to snuff. It was fantastic when we went in March of 2008. We missed B&C in January of 2010, so it's been a long time for me.

I remember a few years back the furor over the changed meat patties was going around the boards. I think someone spoke to the mgr, and they said to cut costs they were forced to go with pre formed patties. It's a shame that the fresh made ones were discontinued. I'm glad I had a "good" one before they went the cheap route.

We won't eat at Beaches and Cream for this reason - we can go to grocery store and buy fresh meat and grill our own hamburgers in our DVC villa. Now, not everyone can do this, but hubby has had better burgers at other TS restaurants, so I'm sure you can get better elsewhere.

Same cost cutting measures as getting rid of the gelato too - they went from multiple flavours to 1 fresh flavour that is now pre-packaged along with some other third party company.

Not sure who is in charge at Beach Club, but they seem to be focused on pennies instead of quality, and we all know what usually happens when that's the case...

Sorry your burger wasn't up to par, Tiger

The fresh made burgers were 100 times better. Such a shame they switched...I was so disappointed, BUT I still make it a point to go to Beaches & Cream everytime I got WDW. I still love it there.

We were there in March and split the dbl cheeseburger. It was the best burger I've ever had. Anywhere. Maybe op visited on an off day?

We go to B&C every summer. It's our traditional first day lunch at BC. We always love the cheeseburgers!

Many years ago (in the 90's) when we stayed at the YC our first stop to eat was Beaches and Cream, at the time they had the "largest burger" in the world, it was the size of a dessert plate if I recall and thick and juicy......I have wondered if that is still on the menu?
I have not been back since to Beaches and Cream but all I ever hear about is the "Kitchen Sink" sundae now

We too had a B&C dissapointment. The Burger was one of the grossest i have ever had!! I have had better burgers with less gristle at McDonalds.

But... We still plan on going back for the sundaes. I want to try the No way Jose...

We ate there in 2006 and it was by far the best, juiciest cheeseburger ever. We haven't been back just by chance. Now after reading about the changed patties, I doubt we'll eat the burgers again. We'll just go for the No Way Jose. I don't care if it's Edy's or Publix brand, that peanut butter and fudge sauce make up for it!!!I could bathe in it!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

We ate there in Sept 2008 and thought the same thing.."why do people rave about this?" ...I can make a better burger at home, the ice cream is tasty, but again it is Edys and I can make it at home..For burgers now we walk over to The Fountain at the Dolphin resort
