can anybody recommend a nice ocean facing hotel in clearwater please?
Fancy a few days of relaxing.

There are a few nice one's, we stayed at the 'Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort' once and liked it a lot, ideal location on the beach.

Have also looked at another one which could possibly be worth a look, 'Marriott Suites Clearwater Beach' (on Sand Key).

I stayed at the Clearwater Hilton and would never return to it. The location was fantastic but we had problem after problem with the hotel. The offered us free nights for a return trip and we told them there was no way we would ever return to their hotel even for free!

HI Debbie,
Try checking out tripadvisor.. its gives plenty of views good and bad.
We are also looking for somewhere to stay that way, and the Best Western at Dunedin looks good and gets good reviews.

The Marriott hotel I recommended earlier is voted as the 2nd most popular out of 108 on TripAdvisor.
The problem with TA is many of the hotels featured do get mixed reviews, and often mean it's harder to decide and sometimes made more confusing too.
