Do we need to pack our own beach towels? We are leaving this weekend for a 7 day DCL Eastern Caribbean cruise and I need to finish packing!!!

The ship supplies pool towels. You can get these on deck 9 prior to all excursions, or as you leave the ship on Castaway. I certainly don't bother taking space in my luggage for beach towels--I'd only have to launder them (hee hee). Obviously, the pool towels are not as big or nice as our "at home" beach towels, but they are quite sufficient. It's just one less thing for you to pack.

We are going to bring along two beach towels. They'll easily fit in the duffle bag with our snorkle gear and will at least provide some protection for our masks so they don't scratched up. :teeth:

The ones they have on the ship are pretty small,...I like the ones I have at home so I will pack at least one of those for our next cruise.

If you don't bring your own - you need to remember to get them from deck 9! We thought they would be handed to us as we got off the ship. We didn't realize we didn't have them until we got to the Orient beach and realized then! Needless to say we had some crying kids using their t-shirts to wipe their eyes of salt water....But we rented beach chairs there and just used our shirts etc ...and enjoyed the sites!:)
