Beach/Pool at Atlantis?

The Atlantic Beach day that is offered as an excursion in Nassau reads pools and water slides are not included. Does that mean that the only way to use the pools and slides is to reserve a room direct with the Atlantis or Comfort Suites?

The only way is to book a room at either hotel. My family and I have booked two rooms at the comfort suits and are looking for someone to split the cost with. This rooms allows you use of ALL Atlantis facilities, beach, slides, pools, casino, etc. We are sailing on 8/22 3-day trip.
