Beach food ideas

My kids and I are going to the beach tomorrow....the kids are 13 and 17.
We always pack the same old stuff for lunch...sandwishes...grapes...chips...cookies...drinks....blah blah blah..

I am looking for some yummmy ideas for food....any thoughts???

I love to eat fruit on the beach, especially watermelon.

We go to the beach almost daily so I have become quite creative. Frozen gogurts, chips with individual salsas, salad. I sometimes stop at the italian store and buy a loaf of crusty bread and a hunk of good cheese. Also bags of veggies and dip, apples stuffed with peanut butter. There are endless things to bring.

fruit, pasta salad, chips, snack bag sized foods.

How about boiling some hot dogs and putting them in a thermos. Bring rolls and mustard and voila....hot lunch.
