We will be staying for part of our vacation at BCV. We have never stayed there before, where can you get your coffee in the morning. Also I know that you can walk to the Boardwalk from there what are some of the things that go on at night. Is Jellyrolls a good place to try. Thanks for all your help. :)

Why not use the coffee pot provided in all rooms for your coffee. This way you make it hot and fresh each morning to your liking without having to leave the room at all.

That's what we plan to do...

hi,
I've never been to jellyrolls or atlantic dance club but i've heard that they're pretty fun.
I've stayed at BWV frequently and at night there are usually some entertainment on the boardwalk itself. Especially during the weekend. Sometime they have magician, street comedian, etc. etc. So we usually just people watch alot. There are great restaurants, a bakery, a sweet shop and stuff around.

Oh and you could rent a surrey bike too.
ESPN restaurant is also available if you're a sports nut.

Have fun at Disney!

:D

Coffee is available at Beaches & Cream, but as mentioned, it makes more sense to just make it in your room. B&C is a bit out of the way, and it isn't very good coffee anyway.

Beaches and Cream is no longer opened for breakfast in the mornings. However, a continental breakfast offering is available to the left of the front desk in the bar off of Cape May. One may buy coffee in there or refill one's mug.

If you're not in a hurry, I would recommend walking over to the Boardwalk Bakery in the morning. They have great breakfast pastries. I didn't try their coffee, though.

ITA about the coffee. There are very few places in WDW that serve decent coffee - due to a contract with Nestles. The Boardwalk Bakery has the same stuff as most WDW locations. I also vote for making your own. (If you are not particular about your coffee, I've read that you can often get your early morning coffee in the BC lobby).

We've enjoyed JellyRolls. It's a "dueling piano" bar. Audience members make requests (for a tip). If you hit a night with a good crowd, it's a hoot! I plan to go again on my next trip.

JellyRolls is a chain outfit - not ownd by Disney. So you can't use your KTTW card to charge anything back to your room. It's 21 and over (no exceptions. They check IDs), and there is a cover charge. When we were there last, the cover charge was either $6 or $7 (plus tax). Also, it tends to get very smoky - not sure if the recent FL law re smoking applies to bars or not.

Best wishes -

Thanks, I think that I will make coffe in the room or on the mornings that I am awake before everyone else (that happens almost always) I'll go for a walk to Boardwalk bakery. I am also hoping to try Jellyrolls, just depends on the timing of things. Thank can't wait until August 1.:)

Boardwalk Bakery does some kind of Cinnammon pastry which I think is actually called a Cinnammon Yummy! These must be sampled. If you are up for a bigger breakfast go to Cape May Cafe but make a reservation at least a few weeks before you arrive, ditto in the evening.
Being English I need copious Hot Tea in the morning and struggle to find a decent cup anywhere !!

Another vote for the Boardwalk Bakery. Morning coffee along the water is one of the more relaxing things I've found. My wife and I really enjoy it.

Lots of stuff to do and see on the Boardwalk although I've never seen the stilt-guy from the tv commercials. ;)

If you want something fast, there is the light breakfest just past the front desk. They serve juice, milk, coffee, bagels, pastries, cerial, etc...
