We have a week split stay scheduled for March 2021, half time at our home resort AKV and half at BLT. We have reserved a two bedroom for our family of 6 adults, (2 married couples and my DS and his girlfriend). We have waitlisted our BLT portion for a possible stay at Beach Club or BWV. My DD and I would love to stay in the Crescent Lake area for the night life and easy access to HS and Epcot, these are also two resorts we haven't had a chance to stay at yet. My husband is worried that the 2 bedrooms at Beach or Boardwalk will be too small for our group. While I do love the roominess of BLT and its 3rd bathroom, I can't help but think we'll be missing out if we don't at least try something new. But I also don't want to arrive at Beach or BWV and have my husband say "I told you so". Any opinions, advice, suggestions! Thank you in advance!

I'm not really sure what you are asking. If you are talking about space, the BWV and BCV two bedroom villa will be about 100 sq smaller than the AKV-KV and BLT (outer ring) villas, about the size of the extra bathroom. The layout for both the BCV and BWV two bedroom is nearly identical and different from AKV-KV and BLT. BWV has no dedicated two bedroom villas, only lockoffs. So the second bedroom will have one queen bed, one double sleeper sofa and the bunk sized murphy bed. My biggest worry would be your son and his gf and where would they sleep. Would they share the second bedroom or would they be relegated to the living room?

Well, if there’s any chance of swimming, SAB beats anything BLT has to offer, and I think the villa pool at BCV also is pretty great.

BWV only has the two bedroom lock offs, so that second bedroom will have a queen and pull out double, but if you’ve not stayed in that area, I would try for either resort. There’s a drop down bed in the studio cabinet, but we have never used it. In my mind, it only makes the table harder to use. My preference is BCV where you can get a dedicated two bedroom.

I own at both, and I mostly save the BCV for times when I am pretty sure we will swim.

Sorry if I sound confusing :) Yes I am concerned about the sleeping arrangements. They would be in the living room because my daughter and her husband would have the 2nd bedroom and my DH and I would be in the master. I guess one solution would be for my husband and I to take the 2nd bedroom, have our DS sleep in the other queen bed and his gf could have the sleeper sofa in the living room.
My other concern is having only 2 bathrooms for 6 adults. It does sound like other than the extra bathroom the room sizes between BLT and BCV are about the same.

Thanks for your advice! Yes that is what I was thinking too, that it would be fun to try something new. I’m just worried about squeezing 6 grown adults into a 2 bedroom with only 2 bathrooms🤷‍♀️

If it helps, the 1 bedrooms at BWV have a bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower, and then another bathroom, connected to the bedroom and hallway, with a sink and a jetted tub. There is only 1 true bathing area (the shower) and 1 toilet, but there are 2 sinks; 3 if you count the kitchen. The studio lockoff has 1 full bathroom. So, in total, you would have 2 bathrooms with 3 actual bathroom sinks.
