We are two day from our room request. Anyone whom has stayed in BCV in a standard/studio have any suggestions for actual room # resquests?

What is a BCV standard studio? Two days from your room request, we make ours when we make the reservation. Never request a room number, you will probably never get it, the odds of that room is checking out the day that you are checking in, you would have better luck playing the lotto.

Hi Bill!!
Yes I did too but get an email reminding me tgatvthey are getting ready to send my request. I did put a room # and do not remember what else I put. What do you include in your request? Any suggestions? I probably have today to make changes before it gets sent

Don't request a specific room number.

I agree! One time, someone just back posted about their wonderful room with the totally awesome view. They were so delighted I considered requesting that room, but didn't. Well, what luck-when I got there, I got THAT SAME ROOM!! I went skipping down the hall, just delighted at my good fortune....I thought. The room was on the road side, and I HATED the constant road noise from buses, cars. Yes, it faced Epcot, but that road noise prevented me from ever going on my balcony. On the other hand I read later about a room these people had and hated-a view of trees mostly. Turns out we'd had that same room, and I loved that there was a Cooper's Hawk in a tree waiting for me every morning, and I loved the peek of the top of the Eiffel Tower. Long way of saying-what some people like, others don't.

Sounds like she is using the touringplans.com room request service. You can check out the pictures of the view from a particular room, select it and then TP composes a fax asking for a room simiiar to it. Their service sometimes works and sometimes, it doesn't - just like using MS.

Pool view, close to elevator, high floor, requests that give the room assigner something to work with and an understanding of what you want. You may request a room number because of the pool view but the assigner thinks you requested it because that room number is close to the lobby. You may find yourself with a woods view close to that room number.

Adding your request to the reservation is better IMO. In the past some assigners didn't like to look at faxes.
