Beach Club Villas

I like the room layout better. Table seats 8 whereas BWV, WLV does not. Bathroom layout nice, Desk in bedroom.
Newer.
Seemed slower and a little more quiet and relaxed than BC, YC and BWV, yet still close to activities.
Distance to the elevator is better.
Nice Quiet pool
Lots of nice internal spaces for when it's raining, drawing room, breezeway, solarium, BC lobby.
Sandcastle club availability
Outstanding location, boat to MGM, walk to Epcot, Baordwalk area activities closeby, swan and Dolphin restaraunts.
Love the Beach Theme
Great at access to Beach Club amenities, and restaraunts, Jellyrolls, stores, Beaches and Cream, Arcade, etc.
Prefer the sand beach along crescent lake instead of the boardswalk
SAB is nice
Nice Beach Club Workout facility.
Nice access to the parking lot
Bus service fine.
Hotel services available like in-room dining, valet services, front staff.
Nice entrance to the resort walking in BC entrance with large fresh flower arrangements, sometimes music in lobby (saw harpist) front door greetings.
Marina activites, can take boats to see illuminations.

No community Hall and Community Hall activities like BWV, Vero, others.
Uses all preferred view point structure, no advantage of standards view lower point structure like at BWV or lower points requirements like at OWK to stretch point value
Rooms smaller than OKW, lessstorage space - OKW, Vero and HH rooms are larger.
No three bedroom grand villas available (usually requires 11 month window at other resorts)
No outstanding crecent lake views like BWV
Villas in back are too close to roadway, some noise.

The table may be a little bigger but unless there's a different table than the one I saw in room 108, no way it's handle 8. Maybe 5 if you're lucky and 3 at the bar. What I recall is an oval table maybe slightly larger than the ones at BWV and VWL and certainly not the size of a regular kitchen table.

Well, your right, it's not spacious, but we easily had 4 large adults and 3 kids and I thought there was room for another. We had 3 on the bench, one at each end, and two on the kitchen side in chairs. I thought there was room for an additional chair next to my wife and I on the kitchen side. Now she's certainly not big, but I'm a pretty big guy. We were comfortable and had a few nice meals that way. We couldn't have done that at BWV at our earlier stay. So I do think the bench along the wall and the elongated table are a nice improvement. I believe we also had 6 and a high chair around our Vero Beach table, which was round. It doesn't have the additional counter option you mentioned that BCV does, but the room at Vero is bigger.

We ended up carefully moving the lounge chair from the bedroom and putting it in the living room for christmas morning and thoughout our stay and returned it after our stay at BCV. The additional seat was nice.

Vero is definitely bigger, but we were comfortable at BCV, more comfortable than we were at BWV. That's just my $0.02.

Thanks, Captain Midnight, for such a thoughtful list of pros and not quite pros. I have 2 contracts at BCV and have yet to see it (other than when it was being built)! Sandie

Ditto to what Capt said, he summed it up really good! I just wanted to reitterate one thing he said

"Prefer the sand beach along crescent lake instead of the boardwalk" I really enjoy sitting on one of the bench swings on that beach and looking over at the boardwalk, you also can see some high fireworks from MGM while sitting there!

We stayed at a BCV dedicated 2BR in October and a BWV 2BR lockoff over New Years. While I agree about the oval table being better than the small round one at BWV, we found the BWV to feel much more spacious. We concluded it was because the dedicated 2BR has the hallway space near the entrance that shrinks the size of the living room. Just our opinion.

Another point I didn't really think of until looking at the bike and boat plan,
BCVs has access to a marina along with the YC and BC. WLV and OKW also has a marina. BWV does not.

We stayed in a studio at BWV and BCV on our last trip. Our BWV studio was definitely more spacious. We had more room and the balcony was nicer also. We prefer the BWV, actually we probably won't stay at BCV again. We really didn't like it, just not our taste. We stayed there right after opening and there were alot of "bugs" to be worked out. This probably colored our "view".

We never thought we'd find a place we liked better than the Wilderness Lodge Villas, but after our last trip when we stayed at the Beach Club villas it's become a very tough choice.
Most of the pluses have been mentioned, however the entire ambience is just great. Beaches and Cream and Cape May Cafe are two GREAT reasons to stay and eat there.
Five minute walk to Epcot!!!!!!! You can't beat that with a stick! It's like staying in the Grand Californian in Anaheim and walking out your back door into California Adventure.
Storm Along Bay: sandy bottom shallow pool is the best.
Must be at least 20 great restaurants within walking distance.
Very pleasant all around.
