Beach Club Villas refurb - when will it be complete?

Hi all,
I am in the process of securing a couple studio rooms for a stay in October of 2017. I love the Beach Club, but the last time we stayed in a studio at the villas there, the rooms were definitely feeling tired. Currently both Beach club and Boardwalk have availability for our dates, & the cost to rent points is the same for each. I know that Boardwalk is about complete with the room renovations, but I can't find any concrete info as to when BC will be complete. Does anyone have info on that?

Room renovations are BWV are completed (exterior work going on currently). BCV room renovations should also be complete (or nearly complete) by now.

Thank you, Michael! Do you know if there are any photo's or room tour videos of what the newly renovated BC rooms look like? I found lots for BW, but the only BC one I found was for a dedicated 2-BR unit.

When we were at BCV last month, the renovations appeared to be completed. However, as we passed a first floor room, several maintenance people as well as two "suits" were in there and the maintenance people were sweeping up glass and what appeared to be a totally destroyed room. So besides that one room, everything else seemed new, completed.

I am here now and per Disney, all renovations are complete. They are just waiting for the next release to the web site to make changes so that the Deluxe Studios can be booked with five.

The website has allowed booking for 5 in the studios for the past week or so.

During the refurb they added a Murphy bed to the studios to go with the double sleeper sofa and the queen bed. So, it's beds and bedding for 5. Before this studios did not allow 5. Don't confuse this with the 1 bedrooms there that have allowed you to book 5 but only have beds and bedding for 4 - that is still the same. So studios at BCV now have more beds than the 1 bedrooms.

ok thank you for the clarification.
I just assumed it would be the 1 bdrm, makes more sense I guess, but now its like what the poly studio has right?

For the sleeping arrangement it's almost the same now although I believe the Poly has a queen size sleeper sofa bed while BCV almost certainly still has a double but there are other differences. Poly has a stand alone table separate from the murphy bed At BCV the table is part of the murphy bed and once you pull down the murphy bed you have no table. And of course Poly has the split bath arrangement and BCV still has the same bathroom layout in the studios that it always had.
