Hello -
I am hoping someone can help me. We are a family of 5 with small children but over the age of 3 - are we able to stay in the Studio or 1 bedroom at the Beach Club Villa's?

They MIGHT allow you to stay in a 1 bedroom, but definitely NOT a studio unless one child is under the age of 3.

Per Disney occupancy you wouldn't be able to stay with 5 in either. But really I can tell you that 3 small children sleeping on a pull out sofa wouldn't be unheard of. I think that might depend on the kids and how small is small.
As far as room to move around and have some space during the day I would definitely go with a 1 bedroom.

Thank you both for the information! I know we could use the room for sure! so a 1 bedroom is the way to go!

Thanks again

Studios are 4 plus one extra allowed if under 3 years of age.

As Diane posted it ~might~ be allowed in BCV one bedroom; it has been reported that MS has booked 5 in SSR, BCV, BWV, VWL one bedroom villas, some bring a blow up mattress & it is recommended to bring sheets, etc. for it as well because they are not required to provide that ( this has been reported for OKW as well but since the recent refurbishment at OKW this resort now has pullout sleeper chair in living room in addition to pullout sofa )

:)

MS will typically allow you in a one bedroom but there is no guarantees until a room is booked.

If the villa doesn't officially sleep 5 (OKW, BLT, AKV-non-Value villa), DVC might allow a fifth person aged three or older, but they will not provide anything for that fifth person. No towels, no bedding, no bed. You have to bring your own.

As the question has been answered, and because we limit occupancy discussion to the ongoing DVC Occupancy Thread, I need to close this thread.
