We are getting a 2 bedroom in February. This is a special trip so I'm hoping for some Disney magic.
What rooms (if anybody knows) has the best view? I thought I had seen some threads about being able to view Iluminations from the room and/or great views of the ball.
What rooms should I be hoping for?

Thanks!

While I am not good at remembering exact room numbers, we have stayed at our home resort many times. We always ask for a high floor, boardwalk view. We usually end up way down the hall from the elevator, long walk but worth it. We always can see the fireworks. So if you get a boardwalk view, more than likely you will be able to see the fireworks. Also, just a tip look at the room review boards. People usually put the room numbers down. Hope this helps a little. :wizard:

FOR BCV
just request higher floor with EPCOT VIEW.

Remember that everyones trip to WDW is special so you will be competing with them for these rooms.

A request is just that a request not a guarantee. Good luck

Also there are no boardwalk views at BCV only at BWV as someone posted so don't request boardwalk view. do epcot view. the view of the fireworks from BCV will only be of the higher fireworks.

I know we'll be competing for a view but maybe I'll get a little luckier if I ask.
So I want a higher floor with Epcot view. Thanks!

Thanks too mama for the room link!

Sorry, I had a mind burp. I dont know why but I viewed it as BWV. But you can go out on the Boardwalk and view the fireworks at night.

They may tell you there is no EPCOT view, I believe the proper term is WOODS view.
If you want you could list these room numbers as well:
224, 324, 424, 233, 333, 433(smoking), and 533 would be my first choice.
241, 251, 341, 351, 441, 451, 541 and 551 might also have some Illuminations view too, 441 & 451 are smoking.

Those are the ones I'd request. Requesting rooms is iffy, but I think the more you list the better your chances are.

I'll be there in Feb also, but I only need a studio so I won't be competing against you.

GOOD LUCK and HAVE A GREAT TRIP.

An Epcot view may also give you a road view, so be aware of that.

We have had some lovely rooms at BCV with a view of the quiet pool. We have also had views of the woods, which I found to be very peaceful and serene.

The Epcot view overlooking the orad wouldprobably be my last choice as there is not a wonderful IllumiNations view and there is a lot of road noise.

I called MS today about our BCV ressie. I was told to either request "Garden "or "Pool." No mention of "Woods," and we definitely can't request EPCOT.

Good luck!

So those the only two options available? I really like that side facing the courtyard between BCV and BC -- we had a room there on our last trip and DS loved watching the activity below (people, buses, etc.) So I can't request a "courtyard" view now? I assume that side would fall within the unhelpful "garden" term?

I'll call them again and ask, but those were the two options I was given. I'll report back if I hear anything different tomorrow.

Thanks. I meant to call today to check myself and to put in a request for our upcoming trip but I forgot. I'll try on Monday and if I hear something different I'll report back.

Well, I tried to call today. "Your wait will be less than 15 minutes."

 I hung up and will try again on Monday. 15 minutes was too long for me to be on hold today.

That link from MarylandMommy is awesome. Is there anything similar for BWV?
The info that DISers have to offer is just amazing. Thanks.

Some of the 2 bedrooms have HUGE balconies. I'd take that over Epcot view any day. I think we were in 233 but it was a couple of years ago. If you do a search, I know there was a discussion of the bigger balconies and you might be able to find the room numbers.

BCV owner here........ ironically, the road view we had last time directly faced the Epcot ball, from the side. We could see fireworks, too. Upper floor really helps, as high as possible. We were on 3, and higher would have been better. (Trees)

We love BCV but the views are not the reason to book there, lol.
