We are renting from a dvc owner. I’m wondering what the toiletries situation is like. Should we bring our own shampoo? We’ve got a one bedroom at the beach club. 2adults 2 children 7 night stay.

Also are there containers with lids in the kitchen for storing leftovers?

If you are renting as points reservation I would say you definitely need to bring your own. On a 7 night point stay you will only get Trash and Towel service on day 4. Your trash now is emptied daily as part of the security check system, but towels, toiletries and coffee are not replaced until day 4. They do not clean on day 4, but rather just remove and replace towels etc.
There are a few containers for leftovers, but we ordered a roll of aluminum foil with our grocery order. If you think you will have a lot of leftovers I would get Glad containers. The kitchens are fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, silverware, glassware, but really not much else. There was a measuring cup, 1 casserole dish, one serving bowl. There is no salt pepper or things like that

Each bathing area will get one 2 oz bottle of shampoo, one of conditioner, one of shower gel and one lotion. So the separate shower will get a set and the separate tub will get a set. With four people, you will use those 2 oz bottles up quickly.

I always bring ziploc bags and aluminum sheets that I buy at the Dollar Store.
