Hi there...we will be staying for the first time at my parents home resort!!! We have stayed at OKW, BWV and actually in Disneyland using their points, but finally get to stay at Beach Club.

We will be there Sun. 7/21 through Sat. 7/28.

Any tips on overall BC experience? What shouldn't we miss doing....or seeing? Any great location suggestions.

There will be 4 of us...me, DH, and 2 Dsons (ages 12 & 7)...

What are our chances of having the room ready Sunday AM? We are flying in the night before at staying at POP one night. Will have a car that we will be returning Sunday (after a quick grocery run) to the Dolphin hotel and then off to the parks.

Thanks all!!

PS...we will be on the dining plan.

You'll have a great time at BCV. You can use the main pool (Stormalong Bay) there and its really something. There is also a "quiet" pool if you feel like using that instead.

In a studio, there is a small refridgerator, microwave, coffeemaker & toaster so your in-room cooking opportunities are limited. I'd just buy breakfast and sandwich stuff myself. Even if your room isn't ready, if you have stuff that needs refrigeration, bell services will store it for you (along with the rest of your bags) while you return the car and go to a park.

Your chances of actually getting into a room at 11:00 am are pretty small. Plan on going to a park that day until 4:00. At check-in they will give you a card with a number to call to see if your room is ready yet. Call every hour or so - you may get lucky and have your room ready early.

I like the pool or woods view at BCV. There are many folks who say go for the Epcot view, but then you are looking at the road...not too appealing for me, and you really don't get to see IllumiNations, except for some of the higher fireworks.

The pool view has you overlooking the quiet pool ( I think it is called The Dunes). The wooded view...I don't know if they actually call it the woods view...has you overlooking the wooded area that runs along the walkway between the BC and the International Gateway.

I agree with everything posted here. We didn't get our villa until right at 4pm. We got an EPCOT view, but would have preferred a view without the view of the busy road.

We had studio #276. It's down the hallway toward the parking lot. In fact, it was very easy to go down the steps and then over to the bus for transportation. It was easy to bring somethings from the car, even for me, who used the closer elevator to carry things up.

From the balcony mostly you noticed the canal...at night the lights from the building reflecting off the canal were just beautiful. If you looked to the right, you would see the parking lot, so we looked straight or to the left exclusively:goodvibes

There was no road and very very little hallway noise. We would take that studio again and again and again!

We checked in around 6PM.
