Hey Guys ...

I keep getting confused. I am thinking about booking BC in January. The more pictures I look at, the more confused I seem to get. It will be my Mother and I traveling and I keep reading that some rooms have Queen Bed and a Day Bed or pull out sleeper sofa. Well, we want to be sure to have 2 queen beds. Do I have to make a special request for 2 queen beds, or is that standard? Also, what do the current (as in decor) rooms look like? I have seen a few different pictures and they all seem different. TIA!! =)

The standard rooms at BC have 2 queens. Some have 2 queens & a daybed. Not sure how the king rooms are configured. Are you sure you weren't thinking about the BCV studio standard rooms - they are 1 queen bed and a sleeper sofa. That is where you would also be seeing 2 types of decor - BCV is pastel & beachy, BC is more formal whites & blues.

Ha-ha. Nope, I'm not sure ... That's why I was asking:rotfl: I think you guys are on to something. Thanks.

We stayed in both in March - a studio at BCV & a Deluxe room at BC - I will post pics of both so you see the difference in decor:

As others have said, most of the standard BC resort rooms have 2 Queen Beds. Some also have daybeds. Very few rooms have a single King bed.

There should be no remaining rooms with just 1 Queen bed.

The Yacht & Beach Club FAQ forum has lots of pictures and information on the first page of the thread. You can get there by clicking on the link in my signature.

Ok so neither of those pictures is the same as what is on Disney's website. What gives? That's why I am confused. :confused3

Old pictures. Follow the link to the BC/YC/BCV thread and see the latest news and pictures. It should end the confusion. Happy planning

Wow. So the Disney site has old pictures?! I should have known that the DIS was more up-to-date! :rotfl2:

That pic is WAY old!!! I'm surprised they still have it on their website!

OK, this totally blows me away that Disney has such an old picture on the website! I went onto the site to see it myself!

I have never even seen this decor, and I have been involved with the Beach Club since early 2009.

Maybe I should apply for a job with Disney.com and offer to update their site. And if I have to travel extensively to Florida to get it right, well, I will just have to make that sacrifice!

LOL!! Yes. You have my vote! I really thought I was losing it. :rotfl:
So thanks again for helping me out.

Be sure to go over to the YC/BC thread. I've been lurking on the YC/BC thread or 2 years now. After viewing the pictures on the wdw site of that hideous bedspread, I had to duck and run for cover :scared1: (pun intended). I am grateful that the YC/BC thread has up-to-date pictures.
