Beach Club pool question!

Hey we are staying in the Beach Club in late August. And previously I stayed at Contemporary and Wilderness Lodge. My concern is does the beach club pool have good shady spots to sit under while my kids are in the pool? Becuase I dont want to be sitting in the shade in the pool after being in the sun all day when in the parks! Thanks!

There are some chaise lounges in the shade...BUT they are not directly near the pool.The shallow pool with the sandbar is in the sun. The kiddie pool behind the pirate ship is also in the sun.Most of the shady areas are hard to watch little ones from

You have to be there when the pool opens to get the shady spots. And they don't open up very much during the day.

In my experience it's really tough to get a shady spot unless you're there early. I did see CM's clearing up chaises and tables where it was just a pile of towels thrown on to reserve the spots and they'd been left there unattended for hours. That was a pleasant surprise!

I took a seat further away than I wanted to and overheard the family sitting at a spot I wanted say they were going to leave after they ate. I walked over, introduced myself, and said I'd love to have their space when they left. I didn't want to hover like a vulture so if they'd tell me before they packed up, I'd appreciate it. They even left my daughter their sand buckets and toys since they were leaving that night and we passed it along to the people that took the table over from us. Pixie dust!

Well thanks for everyone that cleared this up for me! Because I heard that they rarley had no shade. I just wanted things cleared up lol. Thanks everyone! Now I think imma look at the Boardwalk Resort ( if they got some shade! ) LOL

There is lots of shade, but that pool area is so big that you probably won't spend much time sitting down. I was on the move constantly there, trying to keep track of kids. Just as well because the chairs were all taken most of the time.
