We were Beach Club first timers this summer!!
If you have kids, just a warning to let you know that they sell 5 different types of Super Soakers at the poolside gift shop. I had not known that. I ended up buying two...one for DS9 & another for DH. It pained me because I had 2 brand new ones (not even opened yet!) back home in our garage.
I had known we could bring our own tubes though. I brought some 36 inch ones I'd gotten at Target. They do rent them out there though.
Have fun!! I'm jealous!!
Thanks for the advice - will take our own! The tubes - is there somewhere to blow them up? Do they have any rules around size etc?
There is newly created thread with some Fabulous picture and great info.
go to the stickys on the resort home page, click WDW Resort FAQ and info, then click on the Sailing to the Yacht and Beach Club thread. (If I only knew how to properly paste a link, life would be sooooo much easier).
Have a great time![]()
I did not see anyplace to blow them up, although there could be.
DH had brought a pump that plugs into our Denali, & he did it that way.
I did not see anything stating a limited size...most everyone that had their own tubes seemed to have about the same size that we did (36 inches).
They do allow noodles too.

While you're at the Beach Club (my recommendation to ANYONE going there!), be sure to MAKE THE TIME to meet and talk to Art, the Greeter, or as my wife & I think of him, the Grand Admiral of the Beach Club. He is a WONDERFUL man who truly makes everyone feel special. For more information about him, check out this thread here: http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1454184 You WON'T regret it!
Enjoy the Magic!
Hey! We'll be arriving there in 35 days, too! I have to admit BC isn't my favorite - I prefer BWI or GF, but it's still plenty nice. My son LOVES BC and this trip is for him, so there you go. I hope it's warm enough to swim!
We paid our trip off, too and I'm working on the itinerary now so I can call about dining. Hopefully I won't have too much trouble getting good ressies.
See you there!
ETA - I must be miscounting, cause we're there 9-15 Dec...so 36 days to go!
