Beach Club Filthy Carpets

Anyone else thought the Beach Club carpets are in dire need of replacement.

We are presently on floor 2, others have also commented whist walking down the corridors that the carpets are looking black.

I think its time to up the dues at this place, very disappointed.

Great idea -they do listen. Either that or do what I did (too pushy?) I found the manager of maintence while I was there and nicely told him. What really got him, I think, was when I told him that if I'd gotten the furniture that was in my room on Ebay I'd return it! A couple years later, coincidently I got the same room I'd complained about and it really looked spiffy new. You know, as I type this, I realize I didn't go looking for him when everything looked so good. I should have and I'll look for him on my next trip there.

I agree that it is best to talk to management while you are a guest at the resort. In most cases, they do listen and will take care of the problem for you.

An email to them after returning home wouldn't hurt either.

Yea they did, you have to take my word for it-but this was our room XMAS 2008. I took them because I was impressed how great it looked. Sad its bad already in 1 1/2 years.

We were on the 5th floor in May, and thought the carpets looked great. We stayed at the BWV a few days later, and saw them cleaning the hallway carpets one morning. Maybe the BCV ones just needed cleaning.

We were there in July, maybe the 3rd floor, and thought the carpets were fine. I agree, maybe they just needed cleaning down the hall you were on.

I would have to agree - I didn't notice any different from our trip in December 2008 and our trip this past January, 13 months later. We were on the 3rd floor both times and I thought everything still looked very new.

We are here now and I will say that the BCV carpets don't look too bad, but we did cut through the BCI today and their carpets looked bad. Maybe they are talking about the carpets at the Inn and not necessarily the Villa's

I agree, and I wouldn't be talking to a housekeeper. I'd go to the front desk and demand to speak to a manager. If you are not willing to make that effort, I'd just move on and have a great trip despite the carpets.

I agree if they are filthy and disgusting I would let the management know asap!
