Beach Club Balconies?

I am so excited...we leave for our trip tomorrow!!!

In case we do not get our room request, does anyone know if all rooms at the Beach Club without a "full balcony" have a "standing balcony"? Is the "standing balcony" actually big enough to step out on?

Yeah, they all have a standing balcony except the 1st floor with a patio (thats the best in our opinion). And they are big enough for one person to stand out on... thats it.

Cool! We leave this Sunday May 11th and are staying at the Beach Club Villas. I've never stayed there so I wonder how they are.

Beach Club villa's DO HAVE BALCONIES -- that's the DVC portion. The regular Beach Club itself though ony has very limited balconies with most rooms having just the little standing balcony.

last year we got the "dreaded" step out balcony, and I was very disappointed at first. BUT you still get several large windows next to the balcony so you do have a view outside. Just open your curtains up wide and without the railings it is a rather clear view! We were there in scourching August and mosquito quaranteen for disease's, so did not get to see to many people just sitting outside for to long anyway. Also my sister and I both adults could each stand outside togther on this balcony leaving the door open ( of course) to watch the fireworks & look around! So don't worry about it, it really did not ruin the room we had a great view!

We also had a standing room balcony, and two people could stand on it. OR, you could take the chair from the room and move it onto the balcony if one person wanted to sit out there.
