Copper Creek is our home resort. We have a trip booked for the end of February when our focus will be on enjoying the Flower & Garden Festival at Epcot. Next week, our 7-month window opens and we've been planning on shifting our stay to the Beach Club. I have seen some information today that makes me question this idea. We've stayed in several 2-Bedroom suites at a couple of different resorts and were planning on the Beach Club to have a similar setup. We are used to one bedroom having a king-size bed and the other having 2 queen-size beds. I have seen some information today that said the Beach Club 2-bedrooms actually have a king in one and a queen-sized bed with a queen-sized sleeper sofa for the other bed. I'm not sure if this will work for us.

The actual comfort of the beds is a major consideration for us. We are older and the thought of sleeping on a sleeper sofa is not appealing. So, two questions: 1) Is it true that the 2-Bedroom Suites have bedrooms aligned this way? Do they have suites with 2 queen-sized beds in the second bedroom? 2) Are the sleeper sofas comfortable? Honestly, we've used something like these previously but we've typically had grandkids/grandkids who slept there.

Thank you for any thoughts you'd be willing to share.

BCV has 2 types of 2BR Villas - lock-off and dedicated. The lock-off booking category has the king bed, queen Murphy in the living room, and a queen bed and queen Murphy in the extra bedroom. The non-lock-off category (I think it's just referred to as a 2BR) has the king bed, queen Murphy in the living room, and 2 queen beds in the extra room. That is the booking category you want to select. Also, it might not be important, but since a relatively recent refurb, the BC Villas replaced the sleeper sofas with Murphy pull-down beds - much more comfortable sleeping, less comfortable couch to sit on!! Over the years, we have found the actual beds to be quite comfortable.

Just be sure to NOT book the lock-off category, and you will likely be very happy with the room set up. If you go on the site now, you will see the difference. I don't know how important it is to you, but be aware that the main pool at BC/YC/BCV will be closed the first 5-6 months of 2025, so you won't have access to it next spring. Enjoy your trip! We love the BCV location for the festivals! You just cannot beat it.....

Since SAB will be closed from January 2025 to June 2025, it might make availability a lot easier! And I agree with everyone on the Murphy beds, they are the same as sleeping on a "regular" bed.

Thank you for the information! While we are on this topic, are there 2-bedroom suites that have better views of the water or Epcot? Or maybe they are great for some other reason. I've not had great luck with making this type of request, but it is always a fun exercise just to consider what might be. So, if you have insight as to the desirability of a specific room or section of rooms, please share it along with the rationale for your perspective?

Thanks, again!

For as much as we love the Villas at BC, the view is rarely a plus for us! We've found over the years you're looking at the pool, or getting a glimpse of EPCOT through the wooded area in the back. We've had rooms where we could see some of the fireworks from Harmonious/Luminous - but more impressive was how much we heard them!! In general, we'd probably recommend requesting a room on a high floor with an EPCOT view. Since there are a limited number of 2BR Dedicated rooms at BCV, it could be tougher to match your request. But at Disney, we've found it never hurts to ask!
