Beach at Aulani - Towels

For those of you who have stayed at Aulani, do you need your own towel to use at the beach or can the pool towels also be used on the beach? ((I don't mean beaches around the Island, just the one at the resort))

We used the resort pool towels when visiting the immediate lagoons.

We also took the pool towels with us when we went to the north shore and brought them back at the end of the day.
