Be vigilant

My DH went to draw some money from our bank account last night only to find there had been a block put on his switch card. When we got home he went online and noticed some piece of scum had drawn £100 out of our account on saturday afternoon while we were in our own home. He phoned the bank to see what was going on and they thought it might be fraudulent so they blocked the card. So now we have the police coming round tonight to see details of the statement etc. My Dh was so impressed with the security at our bank don't know how they knew but top marks to them. We think they put an artificial slot into the atm which reads your card details, so when we withdraw again i shall check the slot!!!!

The bank re-imbursed the £100 withdrawn with a minimum of fuss.

Oh how awful, I'm so pleased that they weren't able to take more and that your bank was so vigilant. I must admit this is something that always worries me when I use an outdoor ATM
