Each time we eat there I see plenty of open tables for lunch. Is is a staffing issue? We go on every trip and it is always the same.

Lunch isn’t changing.

I've got a mid August dinner ressie here, but honestly I'm hoping that Disney does what this restaurant has always needed and adds Belle to this new "signature" dining experience. Belle and Beast dancing in the ballroom needs to happen. Nobody would care about the TS credits or kids prices if this happened. If all they do is raise the food prices, i will probably end up swapping out for terrace dessert party, as we have done bog dinner a few times before.

I tried to get dinner res for 1/1/19 or 1/2/19. I went to the WDW dining res page right before 7am EST and started my search. By 7am on the dot there were no res’s to be had! How can that be?

ADRs open at 6am Eastern and onsite people have 180+10.

I am very much looking forward to the new menu. The old menu never appealed to me, just seemed too "dumbed down" for our taste. As a person who will not use the DDP, the price is right for a three course meal. I just looked at Chefs de France and even ordering like menu items (Escargot, steak and dessert) the price was higher at Chefs. Plus meeting the beast will be priceless (if they keep him around)

As for people on the DDP, it really is a very bad deal and seems not worth it and I can understand being upset about the change. Reviews will be needed to make a decision to pretty much "waste" credits, pay OOP, or not go at all.

Reservations are not booked up for BOG breakfast and lunch. They just haven’t been loaded into the system yet.

Well, it’s my fault for the time issue. I always thought all res’s start at 7am, so my bad! But, if people staying on property always get a 10 day head start, BOG is one place well never get to eat! We stay at SOG which is on property but not a Disney hotel. Oh, well!

Don't give up. Just check every day and/or set up a reservation finder with Touring Plans (it's free).

Maybe some people will drop their dinner reservations once the BOG lunch gets loaded into the system. Keep checking this week.

It’s only dinner that’s changing. If there are plans to change lunch, it has not been announced.
