is be our guest worth the two dinning credits or should I try and score a meal for breakfast ?

It wouldn’t be worth it for me, but I definitely think it’s a good use of credits for breakfast or lunch.

U still get the same experience just minus the beast??
Well, it’s a different experience because it’s not a table service restaurant at breakfast or lunch, so it’s a different menu. You order like counter service once you’re there or you can order ahead of time on MDE, pay once you’re there and then find your own seat. Which I think is better, because you can choose which room you sit in on your own. They will bring you your food once you are seated.

We always do BOG lunch- the food is pretty good, price is good (for WDW), and you still get the ambiance of being inside the Beast's Castle. Dinner used to be a must do for us until they changed to the pre-fixe menu. You aren't missing much by not meeting the Beast- I've never really seen him interact much at all.

I don’t think it’s worth one dining credit. Two dining credits?! That’s outrageous.

For those prices, you should get, Belle, the Beast, and the rest of the cast.

We ate there for lunch and it had a cafeteria vibe, (a fancy cafeteria). The food was very salty and basically the worst meal we had the entire week at WDW. We were all incredibly disappointed.

I’m guessing a lot of character meals are disappointing ??

It is a very different experience at the different meals. Lunch feels like a quick service cafeteria. Loud, chaotic, self-ssrve drinks, etc. Dinner is a completely different vibe. Much more upscale with everyone seated while excellent wait staff handle everything. The food is completely different as obvious from the menus--from turkey sandwiches to filet mignon, but both are usually pretty well-executed. None of the food at Disney is really 'worth' what they charge, but compared to other in-park restaurants, their dinner prices are appropriate for the food and experience. All this to say, don't judge dinner based on lunch experiences--comparing lunch vs dinner really is like two completely different restaurants.

We love character meals, but anything will be disappointing if your expectations are off. Food is overpriced in most theme parks. I don't think I've ever eaten at a buffet where the food alone was worth $50. Some restaurants in my hometown serve higher-quality food for less cost I find a Disney World, but I'm not at WDW because of the food. None of the restaurants in my hometown have Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, etc walking around! We love meeting characters, and paying more to sit in an air-conditioned restaurant being served a decent lunch is well worth it to me.

Absolutely NOT worth 2 table service credits. If you must go, better to pay out of pocket. Breakfast and lunch are a good use of 1 counter service credit. I only do breakfast if I can snag a pre-park opening (PPO), as I don't care too much for the food. I prefer the food at lunch.

I would pay cash for one meal and credits for the other. Split the difference

I would do lunch—we have our last two trips. It’s a great atmosphere, food is pretty good, reasonable price for lunch, and it gives you a break from the heat! We have also done dinner and it was good but pricey. You can meet the beast but you have to line up in his library—it was really dark and he doesn’t sign autographs (guess he can’t with those big paws). Storybook Dining at Artist Point was the same price out of pocket as bOG dinner but also only charges one TS credit and was a great experience

We enjoyed BOG dinner but my daughter is a huge beauty and the Beast fan, so we had to meet the beast

You can make an ADR for breakfast and order whatever you want. You can have 10 people and order 1 coffee if you want (and there are reports here of people ordering nothing). The dinner is definitely not worth two dining credits - the food at any meal is mediocre at best, in my opinion.

We always go for dinner. We did breakfast and lunch once but breakfast is too expensive (we don’t do dining plan) and my daughter doesn’t like the lunch choices. We do dinner every trip and have always enjoyed our food. This summer is our first with the prix fixe menu.

To be honest that’s an exaggeration. Food is definitely worth one credit, and for MK arguably two... at least relative to the alternatives. Their food really isn’t that bad, it’s a lot of over hyped negativity. I would recommend QS first if you’re unsure though, test the waters and see if it’s worth two for you.

And also if you don’t want the “cafeteria vibe” then don’t choose the third boring room. The ballroom and the rose room are awesome.

Don’t do breakfast, agree it’s a waste of money.
