My DD's (11,13) and I went yesterday during a preview of the new Fantasyland and were able to get reservations for dinner that night! We were very happy because it is booked solid for 6 months! Once again, Disney has outdone themselves. The castle is beautiful with three separate dining spaces. The Music Box room (open for lunch) features a life size Belle and the Beast dancing together atop a music box. The Main Ballroom (dinner - we sat here) features three HUGE chandeliers, (the host told us they had to dismantle the largest one in the middle to fit it through the doors) and beautifully painted cherubs adorn the ceilings. Our Host said that the illustrators painted their own childrens faces. How sweet! Lastly, as you look out the floor to celing "windows" it is snowing ont he mountains of France. Be sure to watch when the storm comes, it blows the snow. The last room is my favorite - I am going to request a table here next time. It is the West Wing, Beast's room and this is where the rose in a glass jar(animated) slowly looses it petals. There is a picture of the Prince/Beast that changes as the rose looses petals. This room is smaller, more intimate. Ok, enough about the atmosphere. The food is just as delicious. My girls are used to ordering off the adult menus, so we did not bother with the children menus. My girls both ordered soda, while I had a very nice Pinor Noir Burgundy. YES! They serve beer and wine in this restaurant in the Magic Kingdom! They did have an amusing lemonade served in a castle shaped cup which we would have ordered, but the girls didn't want to carry it around. We are season passholders and travel light while in the parks. For appetizers, one child ordered a salad (crisp, fresh, perfect amount of dressing), while my other child and I ordered the potato leek soup. Creamy and delicious, served at just the right temperature. Bread and salted butter are also served with the appetizers. For dinner, the girls ordered Cornish Game Hen and I the Pork Chops. The meal was very well prepared, tasty and served in a timely fashion. We had no complaints. For dessert, we ordered a strawberry shortcake cupcakes and a lemon meringue cupcake. They were very yummy, except we didn't like the plastic holder they came in. Too hard to unwrap, so we just ate it with a fork right out of the container. In all, dinner was everything you would expect from Disney - perfectly done with attention to detail. They entire meal for the three of us, including tip, was approximately $135.00.

That sounds so wonderful! Especially about seeing it snow while you're eating dinner. I can't wait to be there in April!
