Be Our Guest Lunch Fastpass

I don't understand how everyone is having such a difficult time finding their number? :confused3 Is it because they didn't book through Disney? If I sign into MDX and click on 'My Reservations and Tickets,' my reservation/confirmation number shows up right on that page next to our resort information.

A great part of Disney's IT issues stem from the fact that they have multiple systems attempting to work together. DVC is not the same as CRO, CRO is not the same as the system Travel Agents use. And they all use different types of reservation numbers. To make them work together they all are linked by one common (long) master number but that number is not always given out.

It seems DVC defaults to this so we don't have the same issues everyone else has.

I did all of that stuff and no number came up in my browser. Maybe it depends on what browser you use. I don't have internet at home (we live in podunk) so I am stuck with the browser that work provides.

Your MEMORY MAKER confirmation number will get you into the BOG FP Lunch site.

It works!! I used it!! :woohoo:

I found out through Calling for "IT" help at Disney that because I booked through "Walt Disney Travel Company" and not on the website "Disney.com" I do not have the 12 digit Reservation Number. Only packages that were booked directly through Disney will have a 12 digit #.

I did all the things that were suggested and nothing worked that's why I called to talk to an IT help person and this is what she told me after looking over my personal "My Disney Experiance". She could see that there were no buttons for "Make a Payment online", so she was able to narrow it down to who I booked my package with.

Boo. I thought the web site and calling Disney were the same company. I booked through the web site, but all of the invoices say "Walt Disney Travel Company". I do not have any option to pay online anywhere in MDE either. I've had to call to make my payments.

My confirmation number is a combo of letters and numbers. The only 12 digit number I could find anywhere was the MM. All the other places that you read about on the boards never showed my a numerical number.

I booked on line several months back at disneyworld.com and then added FD with a CM at Walt Disney Travel Company on the day that FD came out to the Disney Visa holders and I found my reservation #. So I am afraid that IT rep was confused :guilty:

There is not a "make a payment" directly on the MDE
You have to click on "Reservations & tickets"
then look for "view Details" (it is blue):
It will look like this:

when you click on "view details"
a box will pop up.
It will say (it take a few seconds to show)
(1st line)"Reservation for 4(or however many is in your party)
(2nd line) Balance (due August xx, 2014) $x,xxx USD Make a payment"

click on "make a payment"
It will take a few seconds then if you will look up into the web address (the web address will change from:
https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/trip/my-vacation/
to
https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/reservation/resort/44XXXXXXXXXX/payments/

this isn't on the page, it is the web address (where you would normally type in www.disneyworld.com)

I actually booked my trip on Disney.com several months ago and then talked to a CM at Walt Disney World Travel Co to add the FD when it came out.
I found mine this way even though every other # I have anywhere on any of my paperwork and reservation on line only shows a confirmation number with letters and numbers.

I wish they would make this uniform. It is soooo frustrating! especially for everyone still having trouble finding theirs :badpc:

Then why is it that some people have Package reservation numbers mixed with letters while others have the 12 digit numbers as a Package Reservation number?

I also called and booked on the phone the day Free Dining came out but have the reservation Confirmation with numbers and letters. I booked a package not a Room only. When I called and talked to a CM today, I ask if there were another set of numbers for my Reservation Confirmation and she said "NO".

We're going in September but have not made my Final Package payment yet.
Maybe I will get a different number after making final payment?

I've clicked on the View Details and there still is no button for Make payment online. Just my Reservation Confirmation (letter/number)

In the mean time::crazy2:
I decided I will just get in line for BOG before lunch opens the day I'm at MK.

Many/most resort guests have both numbers, because they're two different things.

Walt Disney Travel Company reservation confirmations use letters and numbers. This is what you get when you book a package.

Walt Disney World resort reservation numbers, which is what you need for the BOG site, are the 12 digit numbers.

:yay:

OMG... THANK YOU! Calling to make my payments is such a pain. For some reason I had completely overlooked that link to pay online. So. much. easier!

Can you tell me the difference between?:

Walt Disney Travel Company
&
Walt Disney World Resort

I thought they were the same:confused3

I know, everything I see is my confirmation # too.:headache:

If you see the "view detail" and you click on it, does a box pop up with all your info???

If so, give it just a few seconds to load and at the top of the page, does it say: "Reservation for 4" (or however many there are in your party)???
The next line should say "balance (due XXXXXX XX, 2014) Make a payment"

These are the 1st 2 lines on this pop up.

Then if you click on "make a payment" that is when the web address will changes and shows the 12 digit number.

I feel like I am pestering you and I don't want you to think I don't believe you. PLEASE, PLEASE do not take it that way. I just am hoping you are close to finding it and I don't want you to give up :flower3:

Dang, If I had access to your reservation, I would go look for it for you :rotfl: it is soooooo frustrating!:badpc: I will help you any way that I can. I sure don't want you standing in line to eat for an hour+!

:yay:

YAY! soooo glad I could help:dance3:

When you clicked on the "make a payment" link, did you look at the URL web address and see your 12 digit reservation number?

Just tried for July 9th (again!) and still no. :(
Are we still stalled at July 6?

The 7th came out yesterday, that is the last day I'm allowed to see even though we're there through the 10th (dumb system), but I suspect 8th is open now, and tomorrow afternoon the 9th will be open.

My Disney Experiance does not have the lines that say "Balance (due xxxxx 2014) Make a payment.
The 1st 2 lines are missing. It shows everything else but balance, make a payment. It's probably a tech problem with the site.

The link doesn't show up for us. Another inconsistency. So weird!
