Be Our Guest Lunch FastPass Thread [PLEASE read the FAQs in the first post!]

I have a question! When booking our food order, I noticed that there was an option to add a Mickey Mouse straw. I think it cost something like $.99 cents OR it said you can use the dining plan. Does anyone know how this straw would work with the dining plan? Can it be added to a quick service meal order, or would you have to waste a snack credit on it? If it's included.....I will add it, but I won't waste any snack credits or money on it. TIA! :goodvibes

I saw that and wondered the same thing...popcorn::

Ok I'm probably just being dumb :confused3 but I can't find the answer to my question.

I have two trips planned now within a couple of weeks of each other. One was a last minute trip and as of yesterday are now visiting September 19-22. The other was planned about a year in advance and is October 3-9. Is there any way I can book a fastpass for lunch during my September stay and also book another reservation for our October stay when our window opens up? Or can I only have one fastpass for BOG at a time?

Basically, will I have to wait to book our lunch fastpass for October until after we use our September fastpass?

Yes you can. You will need to find your 12 digit reservation # for each reservation (see the first post if you need to know how to find it). Just use a seperate email address to build your profile for each separate reservation and you will be able to book for each trip :thumbsup2

and PS....there are NO dumb questions (other than the ones you don't ask):goodvibes

You should be able to book one for each reservation number.

Thank you so much for the quick replies! I have a fastpass booked for our trip in 2 weeks so I just need to wait for that window to open up to book the next one for October.

Thanks again!

I have been successful getting a BOG FP for our last two trips using both my email address (trip last May) and my DH's email address (trip this August). We have a new FP reservation for our trip in November (using my email). We have planned a family trip for next May and when I put in my DH's email address from our last trip (August) the site immediately shows this upcoming week (when we will be at home). I tried to establish a new account for my husband but when the page shows up which asks for the hotel reservation number, red wording shows up saying the name and reservation are not correct. When I tried setting up a new account for me...the same exact thing happened. Does anyone know what to do with this? I do realize that you cannot actually book until 27 days beforehand, but usually you can see your vacation dates.

If something is saying the dining plan applies to the Mickey Mouse straw, it's going to require a snack credit. It's not going to be included in a meal credit -- quick service meal credit for an adult is a drink, entree, and dessert.

If you actually can use a snack credit for it, that's a bad use of a snack credit. :goodvibes

Just got our FastPass! I've been trying for about month. Any suggestions on what I should preorder?

The braised pork. The braised pork. Did I mention the braised pork?

Anyone have experience pre-ordering gluten free? Just wondering how they handle food allergies. TIA!

I was wondering also, but just never got around to asking. I assumed that we wouldn't be able to pre-order, and just booked the FP without ordering food. I wish we could pre-order, to save time as we're going on a MNSSHP day and don't have as much time in the MK as I would prefer, but I can't see any way with needing gluten free meals for 3 of the 4 of us.

If anyone knows any different I would love to know!

I don't have any experience ordering (or rather, needing these options) but the BOG pre-ordering interface has a Filters button that lets you choose allergens, and then it will update the menu choices accordingly. Whether this is what you need, I don't know, but I thought seeing the choices may be helpful.

Here's the allergens filters you can choose:

That's very helpful, thanks! I guess we can probably still preorder! :-)

We already have our BOG lunch FP!! My parents arrive a few days after us and would like to go...our accounts are linked on MDE. If my mom wants to make a FP+ reservation for all 6 of us will it cancel our original FP+?

TIA!

Assuming your parents are staying at a Disney resort too, your mother will need to make her own separate BOG FP+ reservation using their resort reservation number.

The best case is obtaining a reservation that overlaps with yours, and once you're inside BOG you can all sit together wherever you choose.

Linking in MDE has no effect with the BOG FP+ system. The systems aren't connected.

I added it to my order just to see what would happen and it said it would be 1 QS credit each + $1.50 or whatever the cost was for 2. I don't know if it would end up using the snack credits or if you'd have to pay OOP though. But it definitely wasn't comped like the rest of the meal was w/ DDP.

So my mom can't make a FP+ for 6 people with her reservation number (just has her & my dad listed on the account)?

The reason we ask is that we want to use our FP+ on the 26th and then go back with my parents on the 28th.

TIA!

I had my resort reservation number all ready to go, but I didn't need it when I booked my BOG FP. Did I do something wrong??
