Thank you to all for the suggestions, information, and tips in this thread! I could not get an ADR for BOG, but now have the FP+ for lunch and am so excited! Thank you, thank you, thank you! :)

Going Sept 29 to MK, can someone tell me when I will be able to make my FP rese, and what time it's available? Midnight, 6am? Thank you!

Right now (if the pattern stays the same), the BOG FP booking window opens up 27 days prior to the date you want to book your FP for. Our MK day is September 28th so my BOG FP booking date should be September 1st so if you are going on September 29th, your BOG FP booking date should be September 2nd. The system seems to open up for each new day somewhere between midnight and 2:30am Eastern.

Hope this helps :thumbsup2

Today my 60 day window opened. The BOG FP+ website let me login and had a choice of picking the first 7 days of our reservation but each day showed no availability. Is it because I'm not at 27 days?

Yes, once you are at 27 days times will show up.

Okay so I have a random question, we will be there Sept 6-14th is it possible to make 2 BOG reservations this way? We are thinking of eating there on Monday then again on Friday, then my other thought is what if then we decide not to eat there one of those reservations is there a way to cancel or if we just don't show up will there be a penalty? Just trying to figure out what is best.

TIA.

You can only hold one BOG FP+ at a time, per resort reservation number, so with a single resort reservation number you can't make/hold two reservation prior to your arrival. If you have one and try to get a second one, the new one will cancel the first.

But during your visit, once you use your first BOG FP+ you can try to get another one.

You can cancel an existing FP+ if you decide not to use it, but there won't be any penalty for not arriving.

This seems to happen a lot . Once the BoG FP+ system gets a date stuck in its head, it won't let go of it, no matter what changes you may have made to the reservation dates. It's still associating your email with the November reservation, even though you cancelled it. Something that seems to have worked for others is to go to the Disney website and create a new account using a brand new email address that you're sure has never been used in conjunction with anything Disney, and associate that email with your September trip. Then go to the BoG FP+ site and use the new email and the September reservation number. (It wouldn't have let you make a FP+ for November. It would have happily shown you the dates and said that there are no times available for those dates. Helpful, right?)

Thanks so much! This worked for me. I now have the reservation number associated with a different email address - now I just need to wait until I'm 27 days from 9/12.

On our vacation last week I held a BOG fastpass reservation for day 5 of our vacation. I was only able to book another fastpass on the morning of day 8. I made it for day 9. I had read that you can only hold one fastpass for the first 7 days of your vacation and this proved true for us.

Thank you, just wondering, guess I will wait till the Friday Sept 12th ones come out then, looks like a busy time when we will be there as lots of posts about this same time. :thumbsup2

That is not true. I went last dec and this April i only go for 5 days and after you eat there the first time you can immediately booked another one even if its the next day. You just can't hold two at the same time. Good luck.

Well, I'm sorry... but it WAS true for me. I tried to book after the reservation was completed on day 5. Tried again on day 6. Tried again on day 7. I could only book on day 8. I'm glad it worked for you, but to tell me that my experience "is not true" is the same as calling me a liar.

honeysuckle_rose, I don't think anyone meant to call you a liar. Just curious - what was the problem such that you couldn't book a FP+ on day 6 or 7 - what sort of message did you get? You said you had a FP+ for day 5 - I'm assuming you actually used the FP+ that you had for that day? My experience was the same as ruthma's - I was able to book another FP+ for the day after I used the first one, and it was within the first 7 days of our vacation. So it can be done. I just wondered what the system was telling you that made it not work for you.

Please everyone, remember that this system is only a TEST, and it's functionality changes all the time. Just from the messages here we know that it is very inconsistent in how it responds to different people and bookings. I'm sure no one is lying about the own experiences, but that doesn't mean other people might not experience something different.

I would never call anyone a liar. Good luck to everyone. I just got mine for sept 8th.

I just got mine for sept 8th.

We want Sept 9th.
Wondering... does this work the same at FP+ for attractions as far as opening up availability at or just after midnight?
In other words, the day it opens up for us is tomorrow (8/13) Should I stay up and get it done at midnight tonight (or 1am) or will availability for us not be until tomorrow morning, say, 7am?

I just now (9am CST so that would be 10am Eastern time) booked ours for Sept.8 and I had no problem, I just kept refreshing until I got the time we wanted. I would think you should be fine doing it at 7am.

Andre and everyone else thanks for all the great info on how to book this :worship:

I booked mine the other day, and I didn't get on until well into late morning. There were tons of times available. (Yes-just keep refreshing and different times come up.) I don't think there is a reason to get up early or stay up late-from my experience and from what I have read these FP don't go that quickly.
