Be Our Guest Lunch FastPass Thread [PLEASE read the FAQs in the first post!]

We have a reservation number that is 3 letters and then 5 numbers. It won't accept it for a reservation number. Is there any other way I can get a Be Our Guest fastpass for lunch?

A HUGE thank you for the person who started this thread and those who have been offering invaluable advice as well. I have been on pins and needles getting our BOG lunch reservations and I was able to get the time we wanted after refreshing several times. :cool1: I could never have done it without all the guidance this thread provided! I am beyond excited! :yay:

I don't think there is any new info regarding the reservation number. You can try the Magic Band page of MDE, the online checkin page or your ME tags. Some people have reported that calling Disney and asking for the reservation number has worked.
 
If pre-ordering, can I make notes like no mustard, light dressing etc?

I was able to modify some of my choices, like the steak sandwich I didn't want the horseradish sauce. In your order summary, there is a little edit pencil you can click on and modify your choices. Not sure you can ask for light dressing, there's only certain options. I hope this helps!
 
I am staring at an ever growing standby line. So it does still exist

I lied it is the non preorder FP line I see. I am now in the shorter preorder line
 
Does anyone know if it's possible to use a BOG lunch Fastpass that is under someone else's name? I didn't know if it was linked to the Magic Bands somehow, or if they confirm who is checking in.

We have one booked under our reservation for our upcoming trip, but I'm wondering if another group we're traveling with would be able to use it by just walking up and giving our name (they weren't able to get one since the Fastpasses were already completely gone by the time they tried to book).

My reservation seems to be gone. I was trying to double check the time and it is not showing anything for me. I preselected our meals too. UGH
 
My trip starts November 20th, and we are doing a split stay, in 3 places. I could see neither our arrival date nor a place to enter our reservation numbers when I logged into the BOG lunch system. So, I created a new My Disney Experience account for the BOG system, and it finally gave me the chance to enter in my reservation number. But, still, it won't show me past November 2nd, although it clearly accepted my resort reservation, and showed the members of my travelling party.

What am I doing wrong?

We do have annual pass vouchers, if that makes any difference.
 
Just got FP for 11/24.... Lots of time slots open, just keep hitting refresh as others have said... Only problem, I only wanted 2 FP, but I wasn't able to select just self & daughter so our whole party (5) has FP... But I only ordered meals for self & daughter.. I feel bad having FP I don't need & hopefully I won't be charged? Also, is there anyway to substitute a cupcake for one of the sides with a kids meal on the DP? Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this thread!! I am so thrilled!!
 
Question- I have two hotel reservations for November. I was able to get BOG FP+ for the first one, but for the second one it would never show any date past November 12th. My second trip is the week of Thanksgiving. I read on the front page that sometimes you have to create a separate log-in for the second reservation so I did that today and put in my reservation number and it still only shows through November 12th??!! I don't understand since others are able to get times that week. Any ideas?
 
I went to BOG last Friday with a FastPass reservation and just wanted to share my experience. We had added a friend to our room reservation two weeks before we arrived at Disney. When creating a fastpass for BOG, she did not show up on the website. When we got to the kiosk during our fastpass time, I explained that she didn't show up on the website, and they had no problem adding her and let us right in. They do not scan your magic band at the kiosk to find the reservation. They simply ask your name and look you up that way. It was quite a smooth process, minus the chaotic mess of people gathered around the entrance begging and pleading to get in :) We had a great experience and I was glad to finally be able to eat there!!!

As you noticed, at this time they do not have a way to change your party size on the FP, so no worries, you won't be charged for anything. They will not allow a cupcake substitution with a kids meal, but you can use a snack credit for a cupcake. :thumbsup2
 
Got our fast passes for Nov 24th thanks to this GREAT thread and all the information and experiences from people!! :cool1:

I did want to share one headache I had with it for others. We have an apostrophe in our last name, and when my friend set up our DVC reservation under his points he used it. (I usually don't use the apostrophe when i do ressies or online stuff, but I didn't think to tell him.) Anyway, no matter what I did it would not find my reservation in the BOG fastpass system. I checked to make sure it matched MDE, double checked, triple checked, tried with and without the apostrophe, nothing. I thought maybe it was a DVC problem. Then I remembered my friend had asked for all the names in the villa and my parents are coming, so I tried my mom's name and it worked! She is not the main contact on the reservation, so I guess the apostrophe confused it. But then because I had MY email address typed in when I submitted the form, the system got even more confused and over-wrote my fast pass with her name in MDE. An easy change but annoying. I don't know what we would have done if my parents weren't going though, that needs to be fixed on Disney's side.

Another experience, you have to "filter" the menu to find the allergy items. Otherwise they don't pop up at all. Took me a second to figure that one out.

So I guess my only question is, what happens if we arrive towards the end of our fastpass time but end up in a long line and arrive at the front after the fastpass time. Will we be turned away? Should we make sure to be there at the start of the time?? Thanks as always!!
 
This FP system seems to be less time saving than waiting in line without a reservation :confused3 And the fact that they give you no confirmation or any way to check that you actually have the reservation would make me nervous! We all know they are always experiencing "glitches".
