Got our fast passes for Nov 24th thanks to this GREAT thread and all the information and experiences from people!!
I did want to share one headache I had with it for others. We have an apostrophe in our last name, and when my friend set up our DVC reservation under his points he used it. (I usually don't use the apostrophe when i do ressies or online stuff, but I didn't think to tell him.) Anyway, no matter what I did it would not find my reservation in the BOG fastpass system. I checked to make sure it matched
MDE, double checked, triple checked, tried with and without the apostrophe, nothing. I thought maybe it was a DVC problem. Then I remembered my friend had asked for all the names in the villa and my parents are coming, so I tried my mom's name and it worked! She is not the main contact on the reservation, so I guess the apostrophe confused it. But then because I had MY email address typed in when I submitted the form, the system got even more confused and over-wrote my fast pass with her name in MDE. An easy change but annoying. I don't know what we would have done if my parents weren't going though, that needs to be fixed on Disney's side.
Another experience, you have to "filter" the menu to find the allergy items. Otherwise they don't pop up at all. Took me a second to figure that one out.
So I guess my only question is, what happens if we arrive towards the end of our fastpass time but end up in a long line and arrive at the front after the fastpass time. Will we be turned away? Should we make sure to be there at the start of the time?? Thanks as always!!
