Be Our Guest Lunch FastPass Thread [PLEASE read the FAQs in the first post!]

I was able to successfully book a lunch fastpass at BOG this morning for 9/18. I preordered the food selections for my mom, sister and 4yo niece, but was unable to select a dessert for my niece. Granted, when selecting my niece's food, I was prompted to pick from several sides (ie, veggies, fries, applesauce, etc), one of which was a cookie. I know that she will want a cupcake or ice cream of some sort, particularly since us 3 adults all chose a cupcake for our dessert. So here's my question... For those of you who have used the dining plan for kids & have changed your food selection when you arrived: were you able to select a dessert once there as part of the dining plan allotment for a child? Thanks for any help you can give. I can't wait for my girls' getaway. Just a few more weeks til we're at Pop (1st timers! ) and surprise my 4yo niece with her first flight and trip to Disney!! ::minniemo

Should be able to add separately by editing and adding it to your current order. However, you will either have to use a snack credit or pay for it when you get there. The cupcakes are not an option for kids lunch dessert

Question, I'm still 57 days out.. I know I can't reserve until 27 days out but right now when I log into the BOG lunch site it shows myself and the people I traveled with in May.

When the time comes will it update to my party in October?

Just a thought for those who have previous trips interfering with current bookings..
I had a notice on MDE about my Magic Bands being sent out with a tracking number and everything... This was before I paid off my upcoming trip even...Weird that Disney would send me MBs 4 months before my trip, right?? WRONG.. This was last year's MB notice.
So, I nosed about MDE and was able to cancel info on last year's trip... right click everything to see what works because I don't remember how I stumbled onto that little jewel..
So now, I just have current stuff on MDE.. just like it should be.
Perhaps this can help out others with previously booked/then cancelled trips messing up their current plans.

Hi guys,

I'm going to attempt to make a BoG FP for lunch in the next couple of days, and I pretty much have no idea what I'm doing, haha! I read the FAQ's on the first page, and it says you will need your 12 digit resort reservation number...well, I went to the BoG FP website, where you log in and make your FP selection, just to see what would happen, and it let me log in, and it went right to September 19th and on...I couldn't make FP's because I'm still over 27 days, but it seemed to know when I'd be there and everything.

Will I still need my 12 digit resort reservation number, or am I ok? I'm so confused...I miss the old FP system!

Sometimes it seems to already know the correct reservation number, and sometimes it doesn't. I'm not sure I've ever had to put my reservation number in, and I've been able to make four FP+ there over the last two trips. If it has everything right for you without entering the reservation number, count your blessings.

Would it be frowned upon to book a reservation and only order desert? The menu is not really appealing for most in our family but, we'd love to see the inside of the restaurant.

Also, when I try to log into the BOG reservation site, it says my username and password are invalid even though I'm using the same login that I use for MDE. Anyone know what's going on?

well apparently the new reservations open up sometime between 11:30pm - 1:30am (central time). Luckily my dog woke me up to pee and got to book 3 separate parties for the 19th at the same time. If you don't like the time slot it gives you just keep trying. Thanks for the info in this thread, finding our reservation numbers was super easy going to the check in link.

I want to thank you all for the information! I was able to get my fastpass+ for my in laws, parents and my family for the same time period! Now to just get through the next 25 days!

I am 26 days from the start of my trip today. I am trying to get a fastpass for the 6th day of our trip and it still says unavailable. When should I start to panic? Lol

Ok...never mind. Sorry I misread the original post. I was thinking it would open up the first seven days all at once. No reason to freak out yet.

But....if I am doing it on our Halloween party day, do y'all still think we will be able to get a fastpass fairly easily?

I got an invitation a few days after I already booked. I redid my fast pass but still no confirmation number. Or email.
