I'm 25 days out from arrival and couldn't book BOG past the 23rd of December. For some reason, the system just wasn't detecting my resort reservation, I guess. So, I created a new account on the BOG site and everything worked perfectly. Am I the only one this is happening to?

No, this is a common workaround to the "I can only see the next seven calendar days" situation on BOG.

Have you used the BOG site for a previous trip? Often when you have, your user name is tied to your previous trip and the site/system defaults to showing you the next seven calendar days, and there's no way to associate that user name with your new/upcoming reservation.

Interesting.... I was waiting to see the options when my 27 day mark arrived, not even there yet, but all dates that I would be visiting are not available....:confused3 I assume that means that probably people who have a longer stay that overlaps our short stay have already taken the bookings? ah well....

Thanks for all the help fellow dis boarders! I was able to book my fast pass this morning. Now that is the cherry on top of all our plans!! Can't wait to go and get all the fun started :)

If you aren't at 27 days it will say unavailable. Also, it can only start being booked at 27 days ...No overlapping dates can be booked for your stay like an ADR. It's funny, you look for days and days before the 27 days to "just check" and it says unavailable ....then at 2am eastern time at the 27 day mark times magically appear!

Ok- thanks! we will check again!

I read through the OP, but haven't read through all the other pages to see if my problem was addressed.

2 separate reservation numbers. First one is only me. Second one is me and 4 others. When I go in to book BOG fast pass, I am careful to only enter the second reservation number. But only my name comes up. Not the other 4 in my party. If I go in through MDE, all the names are there. But when trying to book BOG, only my name shows up.

Any ideas what I can do to fix this or work around it? Thanks!

Use a new email and the second reservation # with everyone one on it. That should clear it up. Don't worry about it not being the same email as mde this is a completely different thing. good luck hope it works :)

Just an FYI -- we did this lunch on 12/13. We booked the fastpass at 27 days out and arrived toward the end of our half hour window. It was very smooth -- our name was in the system, but I did also bring a print out of my reservation (screen shot). One pointer -- when you arrive through the gateway to the bridge -- be sure you are in the fastpass line. The line we first got in was a standby line. Once we found the fastpass line -- we were in in five minutes.

Once inside, the pre-ordered line was very very long -- much longer than I expected, but it continually moved. When you got into the main room, you were assigned a kiosk to go to, the attendant checked your order and then you paid. When we went to choose our table, there were lots of tables.

Loved the way they brought the dinners in the fancy glass covered carts. THe food was outstanding - we thought it was the best meal we had. And the gray matter cupcake was so good we got another one to split!

Be sure to check out every room!

Curious - How did you go about ordering another cupcake?

For Travelbug: I had the same problem. I set up a new account with the name of someone that was only on the 2nd reservation and their email. That worked great and got my ressie.

There were always cast members in the dining rooms, so I went up and told one and she took me to the que and told them I just wanted to order another cupcake. I paid for it and they scan your band and then they find you. It was sooo funny though because they rolled out a whole food cart for one cupcake :rotfl:

I haven't kept up on this post - but, I had marked on my calendar today as being the day I was 30 days out to make our lunch ressies at BOG - so I logged on and for both dates (1/20 and 1/23) - it told me all FPs were gone - none available.
I assumed this was correct until I read through the past few posts and see 27 day before ressie?
Am I missing something?

just wondering we are meeting up with two other people at the parks who are staying offsite..when its time to book can I book it for six people instead of four?

Nope, you can only book for the people on your hotel reservation - and to be honest, even being able to do that reliably isn't exactly a sure thing.

Nope, just check at about 27 days prior. And remember it's not like the ADR system where you get +10 days. It's 27 days prior to the day you want to make the reservation. So for 1/20, your date would be 12/24 - you wouldn't be able to book the 23rd until the 27th (I'm pretty sure I did that math right but you might want to double check:)). I had the same issue as you - I was confused as to why there were none available but the system will tell you that if that date is not open to book yet. Twenty-seven days prior, that notification went away and I had lots of options for times!

Thanks - I will try it next week. It did NOT say date not open - just that there were no FPs available? If that makes a difference.
Weird that they picked 27 days?

Oh well - I will hope for best next week - it will be my Christmas gift hopefully!? :hourglass

Yes, that's what it always says before the dates become available. From the FAQ in the first post:

When can I book?

This seems to be somewhat variable as the testing process is still ongoing, but at present you can book up to 27 days before the planned date of your meal. So for example on August 1st you can book a meal time for August 28th.

The system currently only allows you to make a pre-booking within the first SEVEN days of your hotel stay, and those dates will still only open up one day at a time (there is no "arrival date plus 10" system like there is with ADRs). So if you are arriving on August 28th, then on August 1st you can book for your first day, on August 2nd you can book for your second day, on August 3rd for the third day, etc., up to a maximum of seven days into your stay.

If you want to book for some time later within a longer stay, this only becomes possible after your hotel arrival date. On your arrival day you will be able to book for day eight, on your second day for day nine, etc.

Note: the system will start displaying all seven of your possible booking dates as soon as you have linked your reservation details. However if you try to make any booking before that 27 day window you will be shown a message saying there is "no availability". Do not be concerned about this wording, it does not mean the restaurant is sold out, just that your booking window is not open yet.

This Fasptass is not connected to Magic bands, correct? You just give your name when you arrive?
