Be Our Guest Kids Meal Dessert

I was preordering my meals for a Be Our Guest lunch reservation. Does the kids meal include a dessert? The pop up in the corner says to order an entree, dessert, and beverage for all guests. I saw an older thread on the boards that said dessert wasn't included on kids meals. I know my son will want a cupcake if the rest of us have one.

Dessert is included in the kids meals - it's not a cupcake. It's generally applesauce.

Since all QS credits are equal, I'd just order another adult meal.
