Be Our Guest Breakfast - prices Ohhh la la!!

I understand it's an expensive counter service, but if I'm reading your post correctly, if you're a family of four, you can just order two meals instead of four and split them? I would think you could choose to pay OOP for those two meals if you want to save your QS credits

Yes you can order as much or as little as you like. You can just get coffee if you want. And you can choose to pay OOP, but at $24 plus tax, that's a pretty expensive OOP meal when you have the QS credit to use. That QS credit is "worth" $18-20, so BoG breakfast is actually a good value, moneywise, with the DDP.

Paid OOP on our last trip for a PPO BOG breakfast ADR and I ordered a kid's breakfast for my child and a cupcake for me. I felt the price I paid (a little over $20) was reasonable considering I shared the plate of pastries with DD too and we had the opportunity to beat the crowd to ride 7DMT. Would I have paid for an actual adult breakfast OOP? No. This time we are returning in August and I was able to easily book ADR less 65ish days out for both breakfast and lunch. We are on the DDP so we are taking advantage of ordering breakfast/CS this way.

Not really, I just got breakfast at 8am a few days ago, and I am 59 days out

That's great. It tends to be more difficult for a family my size, reservations for 7 are tougher but maybe you had a larger number as well. We can hope.

You may be right, you could try backing down one or two, and then do a separate one for the others, if you are within a window of time (not sure what that is) , it should not matter, you all could go in at the same time

so in everyone's opinion would it be worth it to use our quick service meal for the day? (2 adults and 1 child) or should we order small/pay out of pocket and save our quick service for later in the day?

I'd use the credit, since the breakfast is $24 per adult entree. You could easily order just two meals and share - it comes with pastries, and in my opinion is a lot of food when you factor those in. You could also use a snack credit for a cupcake if you fancy that for breakfast! I personally can't do sweets in the morning (last time, DD and I shared and then got a to go box for most of the pastries which she ate later that afternoon).
