Be Our Guest Breakfast - How Was It?

I follow a FB page called "Gluten Free in Orlando". She just posted this morning that almost all options come gluten free. There is an "allergy" button on the touchscreen menu, and when you touch it, all the gluten free options come up.
Very curious about gluten free options for the entrees (adult and child) and for the pastry basket! Please post if anyone GF dines here for breakfast. Thanks!
Oh yea, not the pastry basket though. :(

My wishes:
1. add food choices
2. add characters -- Belle, Gaston & Beast
3. raise price to $30

(#3 /only/ if 1 and 2 are met!)
1. Make it a TS all-you-can eat family style meal.
2. Add characters
3. Double the price
4. Have the servers do a song and dance number.
This would be amazing!

I definitely agree with your #1 .We'll be ok with the choices but I absolutely love crepes and dh loves Fr. Toast. Now that crepes are only for the kids(can adults order those even if it is $20? ) and they've taken off the Fr. Toast it isn't as appealing .

See, I think the menu is perfect. Wide variety of choices, most unique.

A qs entree will run you close to 10. A pastry at a kiosk is $3.50. A drink is $2.50. So, you are already over $15. For $4 more you get to eat in a more unique setting. Worth it, in my eyes...

I bet they have gluten-free pastry options though. They have gluten-free dinner rolls and many other restaurants and resorts all have gluten free pastry options available. We are going Tuesday and my husband is Celiacs so I am sure we will ask.

Very curious to hear the GF options! We had a great dinner there a few months ago (my daughter and I are gf) with rolls and the cream puff.

Have you even tried the lunch? Dh & I 'love' the Braised pork and french onion soup. Considering Disney's prices on most CS, this is actually more of a TS dish and well worth their price to us - considering that every eatery is inflated.

The 'donut' on the b'fast menu does look appealing - but only as a dessert!!!! :-)
I need at least 'some' protein with my breakfast! And, at 'that' price?? Pay a few $$'s more and get a character buffet! Waaayyyy over priced IMHO (even for Disney :D

Nope! I have been lucky enough to go to France and I have read reviews of that soup at BOG. Not going to bother. The rest of it just doesn't appeal to me for lunch.

And then there is the fact that I rarely stay in the MK past 11 and I don't really want to eat lunch at 10:30 LOL!

Pretty sure Cindy and Belle would have a throwdown over princess character breakfasts...not unlike the princess rap:
Granted, Belle already goes to Cindy's RT and hosts Akershus - if they give Belle BOG, Elsa and Anna should host Akershus...then everyone would go to Epcot with the kiddies in the morning, freeing up the good rides at MK. :)

Ate there this morning.. Will post a full review with pics tomorrow. To sum it up...
1) entrée was good (sandwich and eggs florentine)
2) sides were edible (fruit salad with half a strawberry and melons)
3) pastries were good (not too French though.. I'm French so I am biased!)

We chose this breakfast since we go to Disney so much, we like to try out new things every time! I don't find this meal to be of great value... But I would go back if;
1) we wanted a late breakfast to maximize early morning touring
2) we wanted early entry and do rope drop in Fantasyland

I would love to see Rapunzel + Flynn and Merida at character meals. Belle doesn't need to be everywhere! She can stick to BoG now that it's there!

I am curious how people like the breakfasts menu as well. I went to book it and saw the menu and was not impressed with the offerings so I passed.

We are not big fans of waffles, pancakes, sausage, french toast... I was pleased to see some of these tasty options! However, I would have loved to get crepes! I hope they pop back onto the menu :) We have done Crystal Palace and would most likely chose BOG before CP. Not big fans of Pooh or the offerings ;)

Thanks everyone! Looking forward to more first hand reports as people who ate there today finish up their day in the MK.

Disneyfoodblog has a few pictures and a brief summary up, and they said they'll have a full review up Monday. They ordered all the adult entrees and one kid's meal, so I'm sure there will be a lot of pictures.

Ok, I will admit a day later that I am not as negative about breakfast at BOG as I was yesterday (walks away with tail tucked); However, I doubt I will go there since I am not that thrilled about donuts with syrup, pastries, and other white flour, super high carbohydrate foods loaded with calories and fats (I know they have the egg whites on the menu). But that is just me. I guess for those who love this for breakfast I'm more understanding of them dropping a $20 bill for the experience than I previously was.

See now that really makes the $20 seem like a waste to me. Bummer.

Please report back! I'd love to hear more about gluten free options.
