Be Careful With Magical Gathering Add Ons

To anyone booking a Magical Gathering add on -

Watch your confirmation carefully, confirm and reconfirm. I booked teh Fireworks voyage for 2/16. My confirmation came and said 2/14. No problem, after 30 minutes on hold it was fixed. Call back since I didn't get a new confirmation as promised and was told it had been cancelled. No problem, reinstated, recharge credit card, etc. Look at my on-line banking a few days later see a credit from them. Call again, it's been cancelled, reinstate it , recharge ask for fax confirmation. No confirmation, call again, ask for fax, can;t be found in computer. Finally found, will send confirmation, no confirmation. Call again spend 48 minutes on hold - receive correct confirm by fax 5 minutes later.

I did send a letter to guest services, as I will not be apt to book MG again. Thankfully, I am DVC and did my own room, imagine if they lost my room booking and couldn't get it back (since it is Valentine's Day, Pres. Day and Daytona 500 weekend)

WOW!! What a NIGHTMARE!! But, I don't think I'll ever have to worry about it. We can't get 5 more people to go to WDW if we PAID them too!!! That's why I hang out here so much--no one in my family (or my friends) truly understand me!!! Here I feel safe among the other fanatics!!!

Wow! I'm trying to organize a magical gathering for next year, so am glad to have your input. Like JoshMom above, I have a hard time getting the rest of our non-Disney extended family to get with the program and was hoping the Magical Gatherings would help.
