I had a reservation for AKL 6/23 to 7/1. This morning I called and changed the first three nights to POR. I was on the phone for a while CM told me she was new. She changed my reservation and I hung up. Right after I hung up I realized that I had received a separate reservation number for POR but was not asked about making a separate deposit for this reservation. I called back to check if a separate deposit was needed. The CM I talked to this time could not find my new reservation for POR. She had to redo the reservation. She told me there are about 50 new CMs and the computer have been acting up. Might be a good idea for everyone to double check there changes!

I had a reservation for 5 nights at WL and have changed the last two nights to the AKL. The CM was concerned on how to do the transfer but she seemed to know what she was doing but she even told me to call back on Tuesday to check on whether AKL got their money. Interesting and worrisome. But thanks for reminding people to check on their reservations.

That sounds like solid advice any time....

We had a problem when we changed our reservations for the AKL. We changed the package and the dates. CRO only changed the package but kept the old dates. I only found out about this when I called to check on my requests the night before my trip. Luckily we had 5 days before the AKL part. There were no rooms left at AKL for the dates we needed. A great supervisor got us WL and kept trying for AKL. Finally the day before our check-in he was able to get us in AKL.
I'll always recheck ressies from now on.

I had similar difficulties with CM. I booked CBR room only for May. When I called back to change the dates I asked her how much more for UHP. After 5 mins of being on hold, she told me se couldn't add the UHP because it was already on!

She told me somehow I had gotten room AND UHP for $104 per night. I said AWESOME!! Then, wait, I'm sorry room is $104, UHP is extra. She was really confused.

When I told her I didn't want the UHP, she had to delete the ressie and rebook without the UHP because I was using a special discount code from a post code. I was a little nervious because I heard these codes expired. (Although I don't think post card codes expired - just online codes).

I was on hold for 10 minutes because she was having trouble rebooking the room. She was in contact with another dept who was helping her.

Everything appears to be correct on the confirm I got in the mail. $104 per night. I didn't dare mention I might need a fridge. I'll wait til I check in for that.
