Be careful w/Connections

Just want to let everyone know becareful using Connections.
I canceled after my 30 days back in January and am still getting charged. They say I never canceled.

One thing I need to tell you is make sure you get the name and id number of the person you talk to about canceling. Second call back the next day and make sure you account is indeed canceled.

Even with the persons id number they say I never called in january.

Now the deals that where once a bargain are not anymore. I got them to say they are going to refund my March fee. But I can't get them to refund my Feb which they said they would last month when I called.
Oh well chalk it up, I know I should have went with Hotwire instead of Connections.

send them a letter requesting cancellation! Put the dates and other info from your calls in the letter as well. Send it certified mail to:

Sending it in writing with proof of delivery will make sure that they cancel it for you. They may be able to argue a phone call b/c it's your word and handwritten record vs. their word and lack of record but with doing it in writing you have PROOF of the day they received the letter.

with your credit card. I have found this to be easy to do. They very seldom question it(at least Amex), and the seller does not fight it(because they know they are wrong)
