Be aware that disneyworld.com is falsely showing some ressies as canceled

I went to confirm my AKL ressies at Disneyworld.com this evening. After I typed in the confirmation number and my phone number, it said my ressies had been canceled! :earseek:

In a panic I called CRO and asked them to check. They said my reservations were fine (I had her read the details back to me just to be sure) and that the website is falsely telling a lot of people that their reservations have been canceled.

Just thought I'd let everyone here know so you don't have to go through the 10 minutes of sheer panic I went through (lol).

That happened to me, tonight, too; I entered it again and it told me the system was offline...I haven't been able to do anything with my ressies all evening.

Thanks for warning people!

Kris

This happened to me after I changed my reservation from the Contemporary to Coronado Springs. As long as you have a paper confirmation and CRO tells you it still exists you are fine. Sometimes simply the act of changing rates makes it happen.

Happened to me as well after I changed from Poly to AKL! CRO confirmed my ressie was fine.

Also went through various panic stages! Thanks for posting.

This too happened to me. I was on hold several times on Wednesday because of it. Glad that it was just the internet. I was panicked as well!!!!

Or is it now going to be impossible for us to modify our ressies online?

Stumped,

Kris

I can't even get far enough to see if it says cancelled or not. I always get a message that says the system is too busy to process my request.

I didn't even know you could do this. How do you check your ressie online? Thanks!

1)Goto disneyworld.com

2) Under the "buy Tickets" and "Book Your Stay Buttons", you will find a "Go To My Vacation" Button. Click it.

3)Click the "Log in" button (if You have not registered with the site, you'll be given a chance to do so at this point.)

4)To log in, enter your email address and password that you used to register and click "Log In" and skip to step 5. If you have not registered, enter you birthday in "Register" box and click continue. Keep answering the annoying questions until your registration is complete. After you complete the registration, you may be asked to log in again or you may be taken to the "My vacation" screen.

5)After logging in, you will be taken to the "My vacation screen. To the right of the screen is the area for checking your existing reservations. You will need to enter your confirmation number and your home phone number.

Thats all there is to it!

Since we booked our trip online at Disney.com I have never been able to pull the itinerary up online. It just says "Sorry for the inconvienience (spelling?)...call such and such number"

I am 100% sure it has to do with the 5+2 offer we booked, every time I have called to make changes or such to ressies and mentioned that they ..umm don't disagree?

Last year we booked our trip with out a deal package and pulled everything up fine, it's just weird how this is, also seen others on the boards say the same thing for the 5+2 package..

Oh well, all is well...if we ever can get there!;)

I'm FF time..I wish!!:Pinkbounc

I too have never been able to pull up my reservations without it stating cancelled!! I called today to pay off my room reservations and they still had my reservation's of course.
:badpc: Dont you just love computers!

I can't pull my ressies up either, and I had no problem doing so before Wednesday. I've been trying to do this since getting my AP rate on Wednesday morning. I anxiously check my mail every evening for the paper confirmation. Once I have that, I'll feel ok.

I also cannot get into the Passholder area with any of my family's pass numbers. This is extremely frustrating! I lost this access Thursday and have not gotten it back yet. Passes are good through December 12, so I know that it isn't because they expired.
