We just got back yesterday after staying at SSR from 1/28-1/25. I had been following this thread since it began and was very worried that there was no way to avoid this virus and that people would be vomiting everywhere in the parks and at the resorts. Only on our last day did I see a cast member cleaning up vomit on one of The Land ride boats. I did spray our room with Lysol (which I would do anyways, regardless of this thread) and we used hand sanitizer regularly which I know will not kill the virus, but makes me feel better. We were some of the lucky ones and did not get sick, but I think I would have been better off if I did not read all of this, because it truly was not in my control if we got sick or not and I would hope that nobody cancels a trip over this. WDW is a huge place and with that many people in the same area at one time I am sure there is always some kind of virus going around on any given day of the year.

It was so bad that all of us had accidents and could not make it to the bathroom (to vomit) at least a few times. The staff at the YC and BC were wonderful and told us that they and SSR had been hit the hardest. There were literally guests puking outside of the resort, in the food courts and bathrooms!
I couldn't eat anything and was almost unable to move. Friday I felt better and we went to AK, moved slowly and constantly felt sick to my stomach. We left on Saturday to drive home, still feeling sick and having naseau (spelling?) In the car, I found another bag and used that, really never a fever, couldn't eat, didn't want to eat. Finally on Wednesday I could start tasting food again, yesterday I was normal, but I still have that sick to the stomach feeling on and off throughout the day, even now. I lost 8lbs in 5 days, not a diet that I would do again
We washed hands, used hand sanitizer etc, and luckily I was the only one who became sick. Don't know what it was, but I don't want it again, it was horrible.
Hope everyone with upcoming trips enjoys themselves and stays healthy!
