I am familiar with transportation to the parks from BCVs (we previously stayed at BWVs)...but what is the best way to get to other resorts for dining reservations...specifically

We have Chef Mickeys for breakfast and Whispering Canyon for Dinner while there.

Should we walk through Epcot and grab the monorial to TTC and then can we get the resort monorials from here for Chef Mickey (contemp)...or is there an easier way?

What about WL....bus to MK and then boat to WL?

Also how much time should we estimate for these travels...thanks!

Your fastest option is a cab (about $12 to the WL), but if you want to use Disney transportation, I would bus to MK, then monorail to CR and boat to WL.

The easiest is to drive yourself. If you don't have a car, the fastest is to take a taxi. Otherwise, you would probably be best off taking the bus to the MK and then walk to the Contemporary, or take the boat to WL.

Walking through Epcot to catch the monorail should probably be your last choice. You would have to enter Epcot at WS and exit through the main entrance to get to the monorail. It would take you probably 15 minutes to do this. Also, Unless you have a hopper type of ticket this will eat up a day's admission.

Best bet is definately taking cabs, leave yourself at least 1 -1 1/2 hours to get there by bus. It's worth the $5 - $10 each way to avoid the buses, there's usually a cab or 2 at BCV most of the time, or just call the valet desk before you leave the room and one should be waiting for you by the time you get to the entrance.
If possible rent a car you won't regret it. I wouldn't think of not having a car at Disney, and parking is very convenient at BCV.
