Staying in a two bedroom at the end of April into May. Question is which side do you prefer for a view? Should I ask for an Epcot view, or a view of SAB (if there is one)?
Any thoughts would be helpful.

Also do you prefer buying your tickets in advance or wait until you arrive?
I like having only one card for everything (room key and park pass). But it is cheaper to buy in advance.

Thanks

You really can't see Epcot from the BCV's, so I prefer the pool side view. The back side (toward Epcot) basically is just a forest view, imho.

You have to get the length-of-stay package to use your room keys, and that is only available at check-in I think. I personally find a 5-day hopper a better deal for me, and buy them in advance. Even with the discout on the legth-of-stay, I usually have more days than I need, and spend more money.

The ticket-key combo is nice, however.

I really miss the days (1992-2000) when they gave us free park tickets as DVC members!

We got a 5-day PH pass that was integrated with our room key when we were there two years ago. However, you won't get the discounts that you can get at the Disney store or ordering from other venues.

You can't see SAB from BCVs. You can get a quiet pool view. We've enjoyed all of the different views at the BCVs. I actually like the rooms that look over the courtyard area. Good luck!

Hookdon is correct you can not see SAB from BCV.

I had a quiet pool view and it was very nice.

Enjoy your stay.:yo-yo:

We were there in July and had an EPCOT view, even though there are trees you can still see parts of epcot. The kids loved watching Illuminations several nights from our balconey.

I too stayed over the summer and had a 2 bedroom at the BCV that overlooked the court yard. We loved it. We would sit outside on the balcony and people whatch. It was alot of fun.

One heads up on purchasing your tickets at check in. We ran into a problem where a very nice CM from the Yacht and Beach side was filling in on the BCV side. She was not at all familiar with DVC. Since it was our first trip home we listend to her and her advice. She had us walking with four children to the International Gateway to purchase cheaper tickets. We should of been smart enough and questioned her suggestions but didnt. After a long walk back we spoke with the supervisor who apologized. I cannot remember this ladies name (Hazel maybe) but she took care of us amazingly. She was from the days of just OKW and really believes in taking care of "her members". Long story short after we had room keys reissued for the third time with the correct passes on them we were on our way to dinner at the Kona Cafe and loved it!!
