Leaving for BCV in about two weeks!! I initially requested an epcot view and top floor for our studio. I heard recently that the epcot view is being blocked by the ride Soarin over Epcot ride. Has anyone experienced this recently? If so, should I call and change my request before I leave or wait until check-in.

Thanks

ask for room 520 -540............you wont be disappointed.......i think most of those are 1 bedrooms though............we have stayed in 522 6 times.........

We had room 367, which is above the canal, and enjoyed seeing the higher fireworks in the evening. I don't have an earlier stay to compare it to, but soarin didn't seem to get in the way.

Was at BCV in January- Soarin doesn't really block very much so I wouldn't worry about it. We had a 2 BR ( thinking 430 something) and could see spaceship earth through American pavillion. High fireworks were easily visible. After 5 nights we switched to a studio ( thinking 269) with similar view but on nearly the same level as "the road". We found the sound annoying with balcony door open and would rather have a pool resort view with lower floor rooms. Next reservation we'll request a high (4/5) floor room with epcot view and if not availabel a pool resort view. Good luck and have fun.

This is not true. Your view from BCV, depending on room location, encompases a large part of Epcot. Yes, you may be able to see the Soaring show building from your room. But it won't block your view. In fact, your Epcot view room may not even be looking at that area.
