Could someone recommend the best way to get from the BCV to the House of Blues for the Sunday brunch using disney transporation. I think I remember a boat of some sort that went from DTD to the west side (close to the house of blues) Is that still there or is there a better way? Thanks everyone

Take the Beach Club bus to DtD.

I don't know if that boat is still operating within the DtD area.

Just take the bus to DTD, tell the driver you want to get off as close to the West Side as possible, If you get off at the Marketplace it's a long walk.

I don't know what boat you are talking about, but there is no boat from BCV to DTD if that is what you were thinking.

thanks. the last time we stayed at POFQ, there was a boat from POFQ to downtown disney, then we changed to a different boat (at the same dock we we were dropped off at) that took us to the west side and the dropoff point was very close to cirque and HOB. I know there is no boat from BCV. But I was thinking if the second boat is still in operation, we could take the bus to DTD and then hop on the second boat that goes to the west side. Does anyone know if that is still a possibility?

Yes, the DTD water shuttle begins operation at 10:30 a.m. daily.

Or ask the bus driver if the bus from BC will be stopping at Pleasure Island. That stop is in front of Planet Hollywood, and it's a pretty short walk to HOB.

Thanks Joelkfla. Unfortunately, I think 10:30 will be too late. I think the Gospel Brunch begins at 10 am. I will do what you suggest re asking the bus driver to let us off at pleasure island. Since PI had closed, I didn't know if the bus still made its stop there or not. Some years ago, the buses also made a third stop down by the cirque end, but I know they don't stop there any longer. At least we'll be able to use the water taxi after the gospel brunch.
