First stay in BCV studio...wondering where on the property are they located, what is the typical view and if anyone has any pictures to post? TIA :)

I was actually thinking the same thing I will be there for the first time this weekend. cant wait:cool1:

We just stayed there in a studio last month. At first they gave us a room that was right off of the elevator which was great until I walked into the room. It was a handicapped room so no tub for my kids....there was also a view of the quiet pool which was empty and being resurfaced.

I asked to be moved and she said she had a spaceship earth view but it was all the way at the end of the hall. We took it and it was awesome. You could see the fireworks perfectly from our balcony. It was a long walk to the elevaotor though, but we really didn't mind. SOrry I didn't take any pics of the view. Silly me.

edit...after looking at that map...I don't see our room. We were in 475.

Were you in a dedicated studio? If so, was this a booking category or a request?

According to the BCV map in the site Mike posted, it's a lock off. That site uses a different color for dedicated and lockoffs and room 475 is colored pink which indicates it is a lockoff studio.

On the site Mike posted, scroll down to the section titled "Floor Plans". Click on the floor plan for the 4th floor and it takes you here: http://www.parkinfo2go.com/dvc-bcv/floor4.php It's a bit hard to read but if you click on the map you can view a larger version: http://www.parkinfo2go.com/dvc-bcv/floor4-large.html

Last week we were in 314 a dedicated studio very close to the elevators with a view of the Dunes Cove pool. It was a great location and view was very good.

Wonderful...I'm gonna request a dedicated studio for next May. Is the dedicated studio a guaranteed booking?

We didn't request a dedicated studio, we just got it. But, I don't know if I'd request one in the future. It seemed a little smaller in the entry area and there wasn't the usual coat hooks on the wall near the entry (we've used them quite a bit in the past)

Our first stay here. We loved this part of the view. To the left was the pool which was being refurbished - not a pretty site, but quieter than normal I would think!!!:) I've no idea what a dedicated or otherwise studio is as we are new to DVC. We were connected to a 1 bed and there was a screaming child or two screaming most of the time they were there. We decided their playpen or naughty chair was right next to the connecting door. At least I was on the right side of the door!!!!!
