Leaving real soon for my universal/DISNEY vacation. I am renting DVC points at BCV studio room. I know there is a small fridge, coffee maker and Microwave. Is there a toaster in the room as well? This will be my first DVC experience. I hope it will be a great one because this is our test before we make the purchase!!
I am also staying at BWV for 1 night as well. Any help, tips or info would be great!

My counter is ticking too fast..I have to start packing.:Pinkbounc

Yes the studios have toasters. If by chance you don't have one, call housekeeping and they will bring it to you.

Have fun and get ready to buy.

Does anyone know if they supply plates , silverware napkins etc, or should I bring my own..thanks again!!

They supply paper plates, cups, plasticware, and paper towels. I can't remember if there are napkins or not, but there are several rolls of paper towels.

There is also a kitchen sink and the fridge has a small freezer compartment.

There will be four glasses, coffee cups, dawn detergent, and paper plates, plastic utensils for four for one night. While some have said they asked and were given extras, I don't think this is the intention. Personally I'd throw in some good paper plates, plastic utensils, a couple of plastic mircowave type bowls and a couple of cheap serving spoons (or similar) to use with them. I didn't think the toaster was there but you can get one from housekeeping, a blender as well. There are also BBQ grills on property so if you want to use them you might throw in some tongues and a spatula along with match light charcoal. We usually take a small pitcher and a kitchen funnel when we use a studio, quart and half gallon milk jugs work well for this.

Just tailor what you take to what you'll use. So plan your meals somewhat so you know what YOU need and take it or expect to pick it up in Orlando.

I have NEVER had a problem after 3 stays at BCV's in a studio getting additional plastic utensils or paper plates from housekeeping. However, that said, there are plenty of places to get additional plastic utensils on property. Hurricane Hanna's, Beaches and Cream and the little room off the lobby that serves a continental breakfast in the lobby all have wrapped spoons, knives and forks. Not to mention the numerous places in the parks that have wrapped utensils. They are so light, I would just throw a few in my bag when you see them to supplement what is in your room when you arrive.

There is a toaster in all studio's.

Have FUN
